Ok, funny when I first saw these, I saw the bike and thought Skars turned over a new leaf. Then I saw the back end of the Porsche

Re Vanguard, most things take forever to get developed and financed, so it's probably out there. Which is why you end up with two Snow White or two Hitchcock movies in a year. They were probably not in evelopment for the same length of time. But Vikings seem to be on the rise, which may be a now or....long wait issue.

Tarzan - hmm. Not my fave story but they are kind of all over on that casting lot. Skars and Tom Hardy are pretty different directions.

Hey Free - I'm just going back to safer ground ;):supacool:

^^ Oh Mik :hugs: You always make me smile :D or even lol  I just hope you're not as tone deaf as I'm told I am :shrugs:

Squirrel, this Skarsbrow lark is certainly keeping me out of mischief  although I am unsure whether some should be filed under Skarsbrow or SkarsPorn? ;) Actually forget that, 'cos the answer is obvious, as in, "What did you first notice about this photograph?" :p:laugh: :graucho::sweatdrop::drool::upsidedown::faint:

New audio interview:

True Blood Radio 196: Catching Up with Alexander Skarsgard {EXCLUSIVE}
NOV 08 2012
This week on True Blood Radio, Alexander Skarsgard joins us in bed* for our annual chat catching up on what he’s doing during hiatus, talking about Eric and True Blood season 5, and what he’s looking forward to in season 6. It’s a delightful interview and we’re sure you’ll enjoy it.

*Sort of. Mel is on bedrest after sustaining injuries from a fall, but thanks to the miracle of modern technology, was able to conduct the interview from there.

'Battlesheep' always makes me smile :smile1:

Yes, really appreciate all these variations of Skars.:D

Yeah, me too :p And it's weird 'cos as they are from all over the place I have to keep mentally revising my list of fave Skars' looks. I'm only going to put one up here for now as Santress has just posted some very nice pix :D but I'd forgotten how much I used to luv this whole thing :smile1: Still do, obv ;)

Oh Alex forgot to mention Namibia in his recent itinerary

And I found it slightly puzzling that Alex didn't mention The Vanguard - I've wondered since tiff, it doesn't have to be loads, ...Hidden, CK etc, ..."and also I'm working on this ...." Anyway, what will be.

As to the Tarzan possibility, forget the loincloth, I want Alex to remember he's Swedish and loves to be naked before I can get enthralled

Gilda or someone else with more hands-on knowledge than I, might want to weigh in here but from my understanding movies in development can take years, languish or fall apart completely.

It takes time, working with screenwriters to come up with a workable script, then getting a greenlight from the production company and financing to go ahead, which can be helped immensely by getting a "name" actor onboard (ie Alex). But even so those arrangements can be turned upside down if scheduling or some other component doesn't fit.

So given that, I'm not really surprised that Alex didn't discuss The Vanguard in his interview. I don't think it's dead. I think this is a project that means a great deal to him. They might be stuck in "development hell" or just have scheduling issues. I think he'll discuss it when things are firmer.

Pretty much what I was going to write. He mentioned it in the beginning because it was a big deal to him and he's glad/proud that it happened. But no reason to mention it now when things may not be that far along/settled as to what's happening. It may die. Or we may hear something in a few months.

ETA: I'd much rather hear the tiniest detail about the progress (or lack thereof) of Vanguard than yet another thing on 50 Shades.

I think Gilda did mention the other day that these things take a very long time, and I wasn't expecting a whole spiel, just the odd half sentence - doesn't have to go into any great detail, ie 'project I got involved with last year.' That's all, doesn't have to be any more than that. Anyway, jmo :smile1:

Something in your fridge right now…
Alex: I just got back from Sweden so I stocked up on Lingonberry Jam.

Favorite drink…
Alex: I don’t have one favorite…depends on my mood. Sometimes it’s milk…sometimes a wine…sometimes a beer…

Last book that you read…
Alex: I’m currently reading a book about Joe Hill called The Man Who Never Died about the labor union.

Last Movie you saw…
Alex: I saw The Master the other day...

I wonder if he knows he can buy ligonberry jam on the internet. Or probably his local IKEA store. :smile1:

His reading selections continue to intrigue me.

So this was movie he'd seen when he snapped in that blurry fan photo?

To, me, if there's nothing new to mention, no point in mentioning it, IMO.

Alex did a radio interview yesterday, with a fansite, here's an excerpt:

Weren't you puzzled why he didn't mention it... in your post just above? BC and I were just offering some possible reasons.
