I love people on Twitter when they get their judgmental going. And nothing like getting the morning going with a pic of the Battlesheep.

I for one am glad all thing politics and election are done so I can stop getting robocalls all night exhorting me to vote. And I don't even live in a battleground state. BC, you must have never had a moments peace.

Yes, really appreciate all these variations of Skars.:D

Thanks for posting this jooa :smile1:.....Once word...LOINCLOTH! :graucho: Wouldn't mind seeing Charlie making this either....I've actually had coffee with Mr Hunnam while he was on location filming Green Street Hooligans, he is both lovely and gorgeous to look at;)

OMG!!! You're my new BFF Forever EVA!!! Sons of Anarchy finally started here yesterday ... just 4 years late but they made it. AND I LOVE IT. Only two episodes yet and I'm in. Can't wait for next week. Charlie Hunnam can ride my "bike" anytime he wants. :graucho:

I didn't think I would like it because ... well, Hell's Angels and Banditos like to shoot each other's brains out in the middle of my city so it ain't pretty walking to your fave coffee shop and there are blood stains on the ground. And secondly, my mom drives a motorbike and I don't like the idea of her organs being spread all over the street one day. But this show is intriguing so I stick with it.
Oh and I lurv Green Street Hooligans. I'm not one for violence but when he beats people up I get turned on. :p You need to tell me everything! Did he still have his mole then? Wait, yes he had back then, right? Did he drink his coffee black? With sugar? Milk? Anything.

Thanks Zola for the great pics, I like his clothes for work out at the gym :)

... and this might be the next film project for Alex http://collider.com/tarzan-david-yates-tom-hardy-henry-cavill/209190/

Any remake of Tarzan (and I have to say it's just not one of my favourite stories)would need to take it to the extremes of Batman Begins and really re-imagine it. I think Alex would do well with the role, if it has a meaty story and is not just a "look at my glorious body" type role... Anyone taking a role in this needs to remember Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan. It nearly ended Andie MacDowell's career as her Southern accent was deemed too strong and her entire part was subsequently dubbed by Glenn Close. Thank goodness for Sex, Lies and Videotape.

My point is they need to make it a realistic re-imagining, with a bit of grit. And the whole cast needs to be chosen well. Charlie H would also be a good choice. I love Sons of Anarchy.

It is David Yates, though. So I have more hope for this than say, Michael Bay doing it.

^Well that's true. He did pretty well with Harry Potter.

OT: Adorable - Stephen and Anna

I'd like to think that Yates wouldn't attach himself to a project that didn't have some redeemable qualities. It's interesting that Alex is having his name thrown into the mix-this is a Warner Bros. production, hopefully that means they've liked what they've seen of him so far (and when the heck are they going to do anything with Vanguard?)

I like the fact that we don't know the names of the twins.

If Skars is producing as well as starring in The Vanguard, that's going to require a whole chunk of time to devote his focus to it, much more than, in my opinion, he currently has available in his True Blood hiatus., unless he starts filming pretty much the day the TB schedule ends. That said, the time he has now, he could very well be devoting to just that...pre-production.

He filmed Disconnect and WMK ( and The East?) in one hiatus but from the looks of it, The Vanguard will be something of an epic. Has anyone heard word on casting for the role of his brother?

I have no idea, but I offer to help with hands on interviewing: Viggo Mortensen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, they'll do for starters :graucho:

I have a feeling The Vanguard died a quick and painless death awhile ago. If it really would move forward you'd heard anything about casting by now. And given how many other viking movies/shows are planned to come out I think it'll be an overload. It was in developing stage and obviously hasn't convinced any producers. Also given that the question about The Vanguard was left out purposely in the one interview where people could send in questions tells me all because if it would move forward this would've been the chance to promote it a bit.

I don't think it's dead, though it may be in hibernation. The Tarzan article notes that this particular version "has been in development at WB for quite some time.."

The only two Viking themed projects that I'm aware of are both tv series, once which is filming or has finished filming, that's the one with Gustaf, and the one that CT just sold. It's not as if we're in complete overload here, like with vamps and zombies.

Sorry but I can do without another viking movie. Too much fur, too much facial hair going on, story doesn't seem to be anything new since they'll always pillage a village or something. So I'm not sad if it's not happening. Maybe I'm not aware but I haven't seen much zombie movies lately.
Speaking of Gustaf, Kon-Tiki got bought by the Weinstein Co. So there might be actually a release date soon.
Haven't read the Tarzan link because ... Tarzan, really? With this you can see the creativity left Hollywood. You just get served all these remakes, sequels or adaptations. Nothing new or interesting. That's why I'm watching more European movies lately.

Neither, it's in development - it's a looooong haul process!
