Thanks for all the postings of videos and pics. RL has kicked my butt theses last two weeks, but I've been checking on what everyone's been sayin'. I just finished watching the last two weeks of TB eps this week. If I multiposted, it would be a whole page worth, so I'll just summarize by saying:

Santress: thanks for all your pics, but especially the VMAN photoshop. Loved It!! Had a momentary heart attack, but in a good way.

Free: appreciated all the pics and vids. Really enjoyed the TV Guide one. The last one of SM surprised me. He looks so young in that one. I also hope AB doesn't screw us over.

Kayleigh: You were so lucky to meet JK. TY for your update on WOW and the smells article. I am one of those people that associate smells w/memories, so I really enjoyed that article.

SS: Now there is picture proof that you started celebrating KK's non anniversary, before the invitation from her thread came over.

Other Random Thoughts:

Just because Skars is filming the movie Hidden, I hope he realizes that he doesn't have to actually remain hidden from us. I don't like Ninja Skars.

Tonights episode: OMG. I'm actually glad I couldn't watch the last two eps until this week.Essentially watching three in a row made it more enjoyable.

Trying not spoil anything, but for this episode: Eric is my hero. Bill is an asshat. Love Jessica, Pam and Tara.

Finally: Encounter ad: TY Free, Phant and Buckeye for keeping us posted on the dribbles they're letting out.

I thought it was a good episode. Cray-cray..but in a good way. Its building to a MASSIVE finale.

I have grave fears for three of my favourite characters, Jess, Jason, Sam.

Rollin' back from the KK party.....

It was definitely a roller coaster - will have to watch again, too much going on. I think it was a good set up for the finale. Hard to say who stays standing. Good thing Hoyt hightailed it out of town.

And Buck - Russell will be the catalyst. Surprised he didn't seem to get "drunk" like Eric in S4. I guess that's one of those things where the older you get, the better you hold your liquor.

And Buck - Russell will be the catalyst. Surprised he didn't seem to get "drunk" like Eric in S4. I guess that's one of those things where the older you get, the better you hold your liquor.

I really do want to see a truly drunk Russell, just once. It'd be a very entertaining one episode reality show.

(My alpha male cat is now running around like a doofus, high on something. I'll have to watch him instead.)

A couple of other thoughts that popped into my head: did anyone tell the actress playing Lillith that she would be covered in blood all the time? also, I can't help but keep looking at her merkin (from the discussion of her original scene). Also want to say, Godric is the man. I'm trying not to give away spoilers, but, yeah, he is the man.

ETA: I really liked Eric's hair in this episode. More natural looking.

Also, meant to ask you - where did you hear about the HBO/AB discussion re: last episode. I'm pretty anal about reading everything TB I can find, but I would love to hear/read about this situation, 'cause this is the first I heard about this.

No probs Vamp . I find the two recaps combined give me a balanced view of the show. HiddenEloise sees a lot of depth, where Meredith's at io9 is just pure fun. Its yin-yang, True Blood-style.

I'm really worried about Jessica. It feels like the writers have connected all the loose ends in her storyline, which never bodes well for a character.

I'm pretty sure that she'd be nude, with a bad merkin (or CGI) and covered in fake blood was spelled out to her. Though even so the fake blood all the time probably got a little boring.

I remember a story from last year, about some screaming match between AB and HBO honchos over the 'pro-Bill' direction, or some such. By an 'insider'.
I do think the 'insiders' just love to troll sites that are pro-Eric, to rile everyone.

I see that some of the Tumblr sites that were freaking out last night have had time to calm down and look at things a little more clearly, though the Eric/Nora scene still ticks them off.

Yes, his hair was much better, I wish he'd wear it like that in RL.

I just had some time to read through the "True Blood"-sphere. Wow!
As much as I dislike the fact that next Sunday will see the last episode of season 5, I think it's probably better for some people. Hopefully, a few months will be enough for them to calm down. After they recovered from the finale of course....
