Bill is a sanctimonious asshat. (Still love Stephen Moyer though, he's playing him brilliantly)

Some images from the True Blood Comic Con 2012 photoshoot of Alex and Kristin: Anyone care to speculate what he's saying to her ;)

Stephen is playing it brilliantly, it's a pity that the TB actors don't get more credit for the work they do.
I can't figure out whether Beeel is faking it or is really a a converted Lillith-head.

At least we got to see Eric in a promo.

Thanks, Squirrel & Free.:smile1:

Interesting ad campaign from New Zealand:graucho::

Alex-TB-AdsoftheWorld.jpg

To differentiate True Blood from the plethora of teen vampire shows, we positioned it as ‘Vampires for Grown Ups’. We brought this to life on a billboard by driving a two metre long stake through the heart of one of the lead characters. The stake then protruded right out the other side into an ad for a [courageous] local underwear brand - creating a large unmistakable bulge in a very inappropriate place.

Thank you FreeSpirit
and
Hey Mik - it's time to dig out that Chewbacca costume that's been stuffed at the back of your wardrobe :ghi5::giggles:

Thanks to all of you for sharing all the pics, gifs, vids and links :hugs:

My 2cents to the Alex-got-just-2-pair-of-Jeans-and-3-tees-discussion:
Well, we all know that Alex's got a very plain private fashion style and likes to travel light. And why should he bring more stuff as needed?
He works mondays to at least fridays (maybe even saturdays) and about 12-16 hours daily where he wears his movie costumes, right?
He wasn't seen out and about during the week so far, so I assume he just get on set in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening (or whenever they are done for the day) wearing sweat pants - for the comfort and quick change.
So, he might just brought about 3 pair of Jeans and 5 tees, some sweaters and maybe a shirt or two with him (besides of socks, undies, etc.) because more stuff is not needed. And if he might needs other clothes, I don't have any doubts that he will find a way to get them. You may call me nuts, but I've heared that they've got clothes shops in Vancouver too?! ;)
I'm pretty sure he's got more as just one white tee but even if it would be his only one, what's wrong with wearing clothes 2 days in a row (as long as they are spotless and doesn't smell bad)? And during the week the dry cleaners at his hotel will do their job so he could wear his favorite pieces at the next weekend again. :shrugs:

...
Oh Kayleigh :smooch: thank you so much for taking the time to post such an interesting and atmospheric report. I almost felt I was there with you. The whole weekend sounds idyllic and so glad you and your companions enjoyed it. :D (Oh no, now I feel kinda bad 'cos you put together two fun and detailed posts, and I reply in like two sentences :hrmm: but I am truly pleased you had such a great time :smile1: and thank you again :hugs:
...
Don't worry hun, I got you ;) :hugs:

A little more details about "Hidden" from ComingSoon.net:
Thanks jooa!
Well, I'm not that into these alien/zombie/whatever-genre but the storyline doesn't sound that bad. I like Andrea Riseborough and the Duffer brothers are hopefully way more lucky as Peter Berg was with battlesheep.

Kayleigh - sounds like you had a great time - and no worries, I think you played it better by not knowing it was Joel!
...
thanks dear, I really did :smile1:

For whatever reason I like that designers want him to wear their clothes/suits, etc, and yet his everyday wear is so very simple and straightforward (and yes occasionally repetitive). At least we know he doesn't need a stylist to walk out the door.

As for the Hidden, I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't more of a character focus, and not just scary/horror/Apocalypse. At least that's what I'm hoping.

^^well, at least I knocked the tiny Svedka bottle out of the shot....*burp*

Tiny?

Agreed. They're trapped, hiding out in a basement. If there's not much character focus, there probably won't be much story.

@FreeSpirit: thanks for the link. Can't wait to see the "short movies" :smile1:

InStyle magazine (September 2012 issue) asked Alex of his memories of scents.
A friend mailed me this scan and I like to share it with you.....if you haven't seen it already :smile1:
Edit: she (my friend) just told me, she found that scan on AlexSkarsgard.Net (sources!!!, but if I would read more careful I would have found the source of that scan in that scan myself :shame: )

Well, I'm presuming there's probably some action outside the shelter, but still more focus on the family unit than the scary things 'out there'. Which are usually more scary when you don't see them anyway, so more time to focus on the scruffy male lead (right?).

Ah, the bottom photo. I do miss the gym clothes shots, I admit it. I know he hates being papped, but I do miss those.
