Nope. Can't find it. :p

Are you sure it got tweeted? Or it got posted on a different board?

Would have loved a pic. :smile1:

Sorry, it must have been on another board! The tweeter was Hunter Walker. On 5:29 on Aug 30, he tweeted that he had a brief recap of his emmy adventures:

"At HBO’s Emmy Afterparty with katherinespiers where we stayed up too late, sang Swedish songs with Alexander Skarsgard, watched Temple Grandin rock out, used incredibly fancy port-o-potties, and marveled at the odd fashion choices made by Penny Marshall and Thomas Jane."

The Bjorne reference is from an earlier tweet at 1:21 am when he said, "Just exchanged swedish pleasantries with Alexander Skarsgard and his friend Bjorn". .

The only pic was of (I assume) Hunter and Katherine Spiers. I didn't recognise either.

I actually liked that AB allowed Eric to yell in those early scenes because it showed that Eric was losing it. You could see that it really shocked Pam because she had not seen Eric that way before. It was later that I didn't like how pathetic that AB made Eric when he just kept making what I thought were stupid impulsive decisions without thinking through his actions. I think that Eric would have carefully planned the demise of Russel rather than just rushing into things and thus, triggering Russel's rage which caused the death of the news anchor etc. So not to be off topic - I think that Alex's acting re: the yelling does show that Eric is losing his grip very nicely (good example was when he yelled into his blue tooth).

Eric had to lose control to show that his humanity was still intact or else he would have long ago forgotten about his family. Had to send Russel over the edge to really make him a standout psycho bad guy. He was a fairly likable bad guy until he slaughtered the news reporter and threatened children. Up to then he was a meglomaniac with a God complex (MWGC). now he's an out-of-control MWGC. Interesting to think about how they will treat Russell next year.

Thank you very much for the link to the photo of Alcide. Joe's arms have me spinning.

I had to share this. Friend of mine sent this my way: kateseviltwin

Its not over til the weight loss, THE interview, the possible makeup, the pap pic of a mystery man... RT @RealBronxBetty: Its over, Boney!

Why is the TB finale not on til this Sunday? Is delaying it by a week something they typically do with finale shows in the US? VERY annoying! :D

It always falls around US Labor Day (which is today) and they want the audience so they push back a week to avoid the holiday. Unfortunately that also means it competes (for some audience) with the MTV awards which also airs that night. Kanye or Eric Northman...not much of a choice to me, but it does eat into their finale audience.

It's Labor Day weekend in the states. The last weekend of summer before kids go back to school. Usually a day for BBQs and beaches and family outings. SO HBO and SHOWTIME (from what I've heard) held their shows for the weekend...probably because of ratings.

Ah makes sense!

I always remember in some movie when I was a kid hearing that women shouldn't wear white pants after labor day?! It's like a fashion faux pas? For some reason I always think of that when I hear about labor day!!

It's a shame that you guys are heading into winter now....I just love the warm weather and don't know how some of you guys survive the freezing months! But I have never seen snow in my entire life so I guess I am not use to it!

You are NOT missing anything. I actually hate snow. It's very pretty to look at when it's falling or right after it's fallen and it's covering everything. It's so clean and white and beautiful...then you have to go to school or work. So you shovel it then drive in it or walk in it. That's when I hate it!!!!

I live in Los Angeles now so I never have to worry about snow again until I go home to visit my mom in D.C. I'm SO scared of snow coming this christmas...

P.S. I'm not sure if that rule still applies about the no white after labor day. I think it was considered a summer color and that's how that started. I think it also applies to white dress shoes as well. But now I think it's okay anytime.

It was the rule long ago. I remember hearing the line in the Kathleen Turner movie Serial Mom...as she beats a woman to death with a payphone "Never wear white shoes after Labor Day!!!" *Sigh* There really is no such rule in fashion anymore, as almost anything goes... Except for suede ankle boots with no socks :p;)

And no shame in winter here. It's my favorite season. Bring on the snow! It gives charm and beauty to this rusty old town. I think my goal will be to make a Skarsgard snowman...appropriately 6'4" in height.

It does seem so pretty! But that's in the movies I suppose!? My husband and I always say that we want to go to New Zealand to try snow skiing but every winter we find ourselves going to Europe or Hawaii! We just can't stay away from the beach, we are hopeless and NZ is only like 2 hours away on a plane.

When we were in the UK a couple of years ago we went to Bath. It was summer and I swear it wasn't any warmer than 7 degrees which is about 45 degrees fahrenheit and I thought I was going to die!

I don't think I would enjoy the Swedish winters - even if I did have ASkars to keep me warm! Ha ha!
