Happy April 1st, fellow Islanders! 
In honor of the day, I’m reminded of how many times I’ve fooled myself over my love for big smooshy leather bags.
The very definition of “oxymoron” as much as I loved the big slouchy look of a bag, the first thing I did whenever I got one home was search for a way to give it more….structure?
Which totally defeated the reason of owning a big smooshy bag in the first place.

As many of you here know, I’ve owned my share of white bags in the past.
And each and every one of them ended up either being donated or sold.
But I haven’t given up yet.
Hopefully this one will prove to be a keeper..
It’s belted detail reminiscent of Reed Krakoff, there was just something about this Patricia Nash Eleanor that I couldn’t resist….

My internet has been sporadic at best these past few days as my area has been subject to the onslaught of folks coming from near and far in anticipation of having “front row seats” for tomorrow’s Solar eclipse.
That’s right, fellow Islanders. All it takes is the sun being blotted out to have tourists flocking (however briefly) to my Home County.

My internet has been sporadic at best these past few days as my area has been subject to the onslaught of folks coming from near and far in anticipation of having “front row seats” for tomorrow’s Solar eclipse.
That’s right, fellow Islanders. All it takes is the sun being blotted out to have tourists flocking (however briefly) to my Home County.
How we locals are seizing the opportunity presented by all the hoopla surrounding tomorrow’s event. 
Our local baker has whipped up a batch of special cookies…
Then there’s the festivities last night at the 4H fairgrounds…
Naturally, I couldn’t resist an opportunity (in truly TPF fashion) to join in the fun.

Heavy cloud cover obscured yesterday’s eclipse in my area.
As for today, my “pursonal” eclipse made its first public appearance.
Way to make jeans and a sweatshirt look like I actually put some thought into my outfit.
