I don't see her compensating for travel, hotel and such. Just like she wouldn't be refunding the cost that folks were overpaying for tickets from re-sellers.
Depends on the artist. I had tickets to 2 concerts in NYC summer of 2020. Both sets of tickets were purchased before COVID. As soon as the COVID lockdown was announced, my tickets to the Bon Jovi concert at Madison Square Garden were refunded. My tickets to Josh Groban at Radio City Music Hall were not refunded. Instead I got an email saying the concert was rescheduled to April 2021. It was subsequently rescheduled to April 2022 still with no option for a refund. Not even options for alternate dates. Just here’s the rescheduled date and too bad for you if you can’t make the rescheduled date.

I saw this too this is from the daily mailAccording to this she had a meltdown over the set design, and that’s why she canceled. It’s The Sun though, so who knows if it’s true.

My boy friend at the time and I were working at the Del Mar Fair back in the early/mid 80's. He was on the crew setting up the rows of benches in front of the main stage. Gloria Estefan was doing a sound check at the time and got so miffed at the noise that she let loose a tirade en Espanol and threw the mic to the ground as hard as she could before storming off.
I guess she didn't realize that LOTS of people in San Diego speak Spanish-------even pinche gringo gueros. She said some very vile things.

your feelings are understandable and unfortunate. this may not have been her "normal" behavior but it's what you saw

Totally off topic, but that's how I feel about Paul McCartney yelling at the young videographer on her video (which she posted, so with her point of view and ours, since he was looking straight into the camera lens) - he can be a very nasty, vile guy and I've carried that bad opinion ever since.
Adele has spent most of her adulthood being revered. I wonder if it went to her head.
I'm completely unsurprised. I remember when, years ago, he didn't get some big award (Oscar?) and he was such a poor sport about it.

I think she is a great singer but I'm sorry she seems to have bought into the cult of celebrity with the weight loss, the glamorous photo shoots, the celebrity-stuffed concert on TV and now apparently an overblown residency in vegas with special effects. I like the original chubby Adele standing there and singing.
When she first hit it big, I think she came across to everyone as a great artist. The problem is, the more albums she releases, people are starting to realize she's got a great voice and does one thing really well. That's not an artist. She reminds me at this point of one of those American Idol contestants who starts out seeming to be an incredible talent, but as the weeks roll on they sing exactly the same thing regardless of the theme. I cannot imagine going to an Adele concert, because I cannot imagine sitting through that many sad power ballads one after the other.
I started to go from just not being a fan to looking side eye at her when I started hearing reports of how many people in the audience for her CBS special were reported to be friends of hers, but apparently have no connection to her at all. It's just a little too thirsty to invite celebrities to show up and pretend to be your friend!
