Agree with you! And I'm wondering if he said "Demi is a little bit too thin" (although I doubt he'd complain about that), would the outrage be the same?

Well, when you can see your bones protruding through your skin....YES, you are a little too thin. She lost a considerable amount of weight in a short amount of time. Not good! However, it still wouldn't give Karl the right to criticize her in front of the whole dam' world especially if he wasn't asked.

probably not but Demi takes great pride in being thin. it's her entire schtick...im old but thin. her looks are part of her job. i would argue that Adele's weight is unrelated to what she does, which is sing.

Didn't he say he was a great fan if her voice, that she had a gorgeous face, but that she was "a little too fat"?
Although it might've been an unnecessary thing to say... I completely agree. I don't see the big deal here.

Agree.
She's not skinny. How do people want him to address her figure? The political correct "plus size"?

I said it already before... It's the double standards of the obese culture in the USA. You can call someone skinny but don't even dare calling someone fat. All the fatties will come back at you, and there are a looooot of them.

Why did he have to address her figure if he was commenting on her voice and face? It was unnecessary.

It was his opinion. Why not? He's a designer, he deals with beauty and esthetics.
He also thinks she has a beautiful face. Can he say that or is that unnecessary too?

I guess my thing why say two postive things and then say something negative that wasn't necessary. But whatevs... if it ain't buggin' her it ain't buggin' me.

Wow...childish much?

No one should have comments made about their bodies. Skinny, fat, ugly, pretty...people should just keep their damn mouths shut.

Oh god, never freaking mind

This is true...but she is overweight, and it is hard to not see her and not see that she is overweight. I look at Angelina Jolie and think she is too thin and that is the first thing I notice about her and say about her. This is how society has manipulated our minds! We have become so body conscious.

JMO:

He was doing it to be mean. Like he has in the past. Has nothing to do with beauty and aesthetics.

I agree here... the comment was mean spirited and has nothing

to do with beauty & aesthetics.... he did apologize but the damage

had already been done and IMO Adele's response was classy &

in a way put him in his place about her self confidence..which is most important!

Wonder what Kaiser Karl's self confidence is????
