Wow, what a trick! I've heard of washing in the washing machine, color dye and the like, but this is a first for me! I'm impressed with your bravery! If you were a man, I'd say you've got steel cojones for sure! :lolots:

I can't believe the iron worked! I really didn't notice the imperfection much, but I'm like you, so I know it would have made me crazy, too. It looks really good, though, and I'm so glad it worked out for you. Gorgeous bag, my friend!

Thanks so much! The fob is one I bought on Ebay and it is a Swarovski crystal piece...the reverse side of the fob is plain silver with encrusted crystals shaping the border--and it opens into a locket as well. I have this in both the charcoal grey and in a salmon pink, too. Thanks for your kind comments!

OHH thanks so much for the pixes...I am even more in love now....and I did a search on eBay and couldn't find anything at all like them!!

I'm so going to try this out tonight. I'm so excited. I've been very bothered by the gathers undone on my grey gathered. To me, it looks very unattractive. They bother me so much that I have thought of letting it go..

Has anyone else been brave enough to attempt this on their gathered bags? I have a spot on one of my gathered sophias that I would love to fix, but I'm too scared. I'd love to hear if others have had luck with this.
