The coat looks marvelous on you. Love your bags. What is the black bag? Is that your Evelyn?I was on my phone after an event. I posted in the wrong threadGood thing I don't have another glass of champagne or I would have been on the wrong train too.
It was a 3 bag day (ok, one was a wallet).
The weather was changeable, I had to bring an umbrella and sunglasses for all eventualities. I need to find a smaller, lighter umbrella.
As it was, the day turned out so beautiful, I had the most lovely unhurried Spring walk through Hyde Park
And Cross-posting my new-to-me coat. It's the most complemented on item I have ever owned, people have no idea it's Chanel and wherever I went strangers told me how pretty it is. I think its people are mostly still wrapped-up in dark colours so when they see some colour it's a pleasant surprise.

Wow!!! I think this is my first time seeing this. She’s a stunner!
Thanks! I used to have a green one when they first came out in 2012 but like this one (that I purchased resale last October) much better. It feels more elevated and goes with so many more clothing options.Wow!!! I think this is my first time seeing this. She’s a stunner!![]()
I love sequins! This afternoon I have a birthday party, with live music and dancing.
I’m in my sequins, so might be a bit hot!
Excuse the terrible photograph.
That's a stunning coat! Congratulations!Just to update you on my new to me Chanel saga. I decided against the navy suit which felt a bit tight.
I bought this light and bright Chanel coat instead. The Camellia is not integral to the coat but it's in the same fabric so it matches. The pink-red crochet trim on the collar and cuffs is hand-crocheted. I will repurpose the belt or wear it over something else. I'm much more in love with this piece and it fits perfectly.
I will wear it to a Cartier book event this week and carry my Rouge H Bolide (if it's not raining).

I'm sorry for your loss. Sending positive energy xxUnfortunately I have the first funeral of the year to use my Marc Jacobs bag for on 2nd May.
Yesterday I saw a friend, the daughter of another friend, who had suffered from Parkinson’s disease.
Sadly she has passed away, and I and another close friend are attending the funeral together.
I told her about my own mother, so it will be a sad occasion , as of course she will be in my thoughts on the day.
Sorry, the photo is fairly bad...

Little 50 ies evening bag, completely embellished with beads.
I think this one is the only bag I own, that's actually embellished.
Patterned and multicolor / embellished bags (I’m including two tone in multicolor. And bag buckles as embellishment).
My BV intraciato lizard swirl is complex enough to be embellished or patterned. And, I include my mini Loewe puzzle as patterned). My buffalo dalmation duret; stingray Chanel; B30 maxi bivouac (tone on tone pattern in the toile); and K28 quadrille are patterned

I guess one lesson would be just because I like the look of a bag if the color doesn’t work with my wardrobe it won’t get worn. I love the green Tory bucket but always grab something else. That has to feel go to have made a decisions about the bags you want to let go.
Are there lessons you can take from the bags you don’t wear / are letting go so that you become better at buying new bags?
