Thank you so much!❤️❤️❤️
I was just about to post.

I got up at 3.20am..aged 57..

I don’t feel or look much different ..
Already I had a pile of a dozen cards and some presents to open(more to come).

The highlight was one which my Father dropped in during the week signed from Dad, and Mum in her own writing with kisses which brought tears to my eyes..

I’m spending today at my parents, so it won’t be an easy day, then next Wednesday I’m buying cakes and having a tea party for some friends.

It doesn’t feel right to celebrate with my Mum dying, but my Dad asked me to go around today so I’ve bought him an artisanal cake(my Mum is on purée), and he was in a good mood despite her health when he visited.

I will update tomorrow once I’ve been.
I definitely don’t feel nearly 60.

I mainly rehome my bags to family and friends; I’d rather not sell. This leads me to be very careful about what I buy and yes, shop my closet. I did buy a few long slip skirts that I will wear over or under dresses for a changed look. Very happy with that so far . For example :

How nice to see you posting! I hope you are fine in spite of the increased workload.
Preferences definetely do change, taste changes.
As long as you are not 100% sure to be ready to part with the bags you haven't used in years I would go by the German saying: " das frisst kein Brot" and leave them where they are. (Given you do not need the room or the funds they could turn into when sold. Selling seems to be rather difficult nowadays and most bags won't recover their original price by far.)
Who knows, maybe your preferences will change again in the future.

Until then: enjoy your new tan bags in good health!
I actually need the space, but at least, it acts as deterrent to buy unnecessarily, lol. Thanks for the warm welcome!
It’s so good to “see” you again! You crossed my mind a couple of weeks ago and I hoped all was wonderful with you.

Congrats on the new role as well.

I agree with @cowgirlsboots. If you don’t need the funds or space, don’t sell just yet. Who knows how you’ll feel in a couple of years. Styles, life stages and our preferences always change.

(P.S. We’re the same on brown / tan bags. I just added them to my collection in the last 2 years.)
Happy to hear back from you! Really with bags, I have observed that trends do come back. So maybe I should not rush.
Welcome back! Congrats on your new brown bags.
Thanks DC! ❤️
Welcome back! :hugs: Congrats on your new role at work.
I second the advice you've been given. Hang tight for now and reassess your collection later.
Your new browns sound lovely! Wear them in good health. :)
Thank you! ❤️

You look stunning! I really love your edgy but very elevated style!

The " but" sounds wrong, but I lack the correct wording. Sorry! Classy edgy?

He’s said some really careless and weird things. Ultimately, he is clear he designs for the male gaze (which is irrelevant to me. I like to look good for me.)

Because I’d bought CL boots first and easily wear them, I foolishly dismissed the talk that his shoes were uncomfortable. Those strappy heels taught me a hard lesson.
He tends to have a creepy air to him in my perception like somebody really wearing His fetish fancies very much in the outside while masking it at the same time making me feel bad for reading it into his attitude.

I love this!!!

Must be something in the air, I've begun to wear full skirts over jeans.
