You look beautiful ❤️, not an old bag at all! lol, the bag looks amazing..Casual meet up with a dear friend today in 'matching' dark grey double denim skirt and jacket, vintage Gucci GAC Boston and Loewe chain camera bag.
The bag is 42 years old (talking about the Gucci not me L OL) I haven't taken it out for 14 years!!!!

I fully understand your frustration! But aren't all shop bought clothes only the base for perfect individual fit? Mass production can only give a general fit. Looking around I rarely see a piece that perfectly fits, I mean really perfectly for the person wearing it. In my opinion tailoring is the second step of shopping.I find that when I shop with pictures in my head of what I would like, I never find them and become disappointed. It's better for me to shop without expectations and hope I'll see something I like.
Right now I'm dithering over a top that wasn't perfect but I still feel I should have bought. If I hemmed it shorter, it would be perfect. I just don't like to have to put work into something that should have been perfect to begin with, considering that it is new and not super cheap.
Voila, pictures:They sound amazing! I think we need pictures![]()
I'd wanted MM's Tabi 8cm ankle boots for years but I always thought they'd be uncomfortable. I tried them on last year and was surprised and slightly annoyed they were so comfortable as I could have bought them years ago for less money. As I've said one pair of boots will be my only new wardrobe addition this Winter.
I'd love to browse your wardrobe! It sounds like Alladin' s cave to me.Three more bags are ready to go out tomorrow. Snake mini backpack, small textile tote with wooden handles and another I've already forgotten. That will make four this month.
I also found 2 more retro (1960s and 1950s) beaded evening bags I'd forgotten about. The gold and pink 1960s is on the chopping block.
Definitely feeling a slight chill in the air when the sun goes in. We are almost in September. I've added my two Gucci beige/ebony canvas Bostons (one is 32, the other 27) to my AW rotation because I'm thinking of starting with 'uniform' of DMs, bf jeans, blouse/shirt/tee and tailored jacket for non-client facing days. Depending on what I need to carry, if a couple of bags are neutral Bostons I don't have to worry about changing proportions or colours. Maybe switch to pencil skirts/ skirt suits and Gucci BTHs for days I have to be more formal.

IRL the colour is a little darker. ( And they look used per design)
I had to replace my phone. The new one is heavily into vibrant colours...
I have bought a few pairs of MM shoes over time and loved most. One pair of ankle boots turned out to simply be too high heeled for comfort and was left behind.
The others are lower block heeled sparkly blue ankle boots and a pair of the crazy ankle boots that look like a pregnant whale ( sage green ostrich, very high but great)
I'd love to try tabis, but they are out of my price league.

Thank you! Red shoes are always kind of special and magic. Follow the yellow brick road.Your red shoes are magic!
Those sage green ostrich boots are amazing!!!!
I find everything expensive. We've gone from a 2 wage household to just one for both, with the added expense that chronic illness brings and the budget is completely blown before the month begins.
Sending you a massive hug❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️..Your red shoes are magic!
