Congratulations! It’s super cute, and the studs do make it really fun! This studded Prada Galleria in calf leather. It was one of the last two at Bergdorf’s. These are stock photos as I’m waiting for it to arrive. I’ll share in person photos then. View attachment 6133648
I need workhorse bags that are well organized, can hold a good amount without being bulky and can coordinate with black, navy and grey. I find myself always wearing my saffiano/leather Prada double zip tote which has the same structure of two outside zipped sections with a center open section. This will go well with navy, black, white, cream, red, etc. (I’m not sure I’d like this with grey.) I love that the studding gives it a pop of personality without being over the top.

This will be on the larger side of what I usually carry which I think is good as it will give my bags some range.
Going forward, I’d also like to find the perfect burgundy and grey workhorse bags. But, I’ll let them come to me vs. forcing an acquisition. No need to rush and I want them to be perfect.
Also, my epiphany has helped me avoid buying a different bag that I’ve been lusting for that just popped up on sale at Fashionphile. Yes, it would have been nice to own it but I wouldn’t have met my newly identified need. It would have fit pre-Covid life better than post-Covid.
Very good point. No point in owning something that doesn't make your heart sing when it isn't that hard to find things that do.@papertiger I hope you’re feeling better now. Take good care of yourself. You have a lot going on.
I love wearing citrusy / tropical colored clothes but, like you, I don’t need more than a couple of bags in those colors. For me that’s the yellow I showed and a watermelon pink Dior.
I’ve thought about getting a citrusy green bag because I love the color but I’ve never seen one in a style I’d love.
Yay for selling the bag!! I know you have to feel so good not having any more “for sale” bags lingering.
Your second point is the main reason why I’m going to get rid of the extra wallets. I’ve used my Dior Envolee wallet almost daily since I bought it in 2017. It’s still in top condition and shows no signs of ever wearing out.
My main reason for getting rid of them is I don’t love them and it would be ridiculous for me to keep designer items I’m blah about. These were silly impulse purchases.
I’d rather buy another wallet when I fall in love with one and would be tempted to swap it out at times for the one I have.
But, I’m done with selling. I’ll get a quote from AFF when I get back from vacation and be done with them.![]()
It's very pretty! Nice color! I hope you love it. I wonder if those studs on the handles will feel okay. This studded Prada Galleria in calf leather. It was one of the last two at Bergdorf’s. This is a perfect shopping and appreciating your collection story. I love it!Congratulations! It’s super cute, and the studs do make it really fun!
It’s great too that you already know that you love the style!
I narrowly avoid buying a purse over the weekend - it was gray and cold, icy and snowing - and I had noticed my Dior Lady was looking a little worn. The handles looked scratched, and a corner looked faded. So, off I went down a rabbit hole of Dior shopping, when I thought “Stop it.”
I brought all of my bags out; moisturized them, put a little dab of leather dye on a few corners, cleaned some interior corners, then gave them all a good buffing. They looked better, and I felt better.
Good question! I’m hoping the designers took that into consideration when choosing the studs. The bag will have heft to it when filled because of the size so I’ll be sure to load it and see what I think. It's very pretty! Nice color! I hope you love it. I wonder if those studs on the handles will feel okay.
Everything I know about bags, I’ve learned from tPF’rs.Thank you @More bags . TPF has helped me figure out how to curate. I have always admired the way you choose your pieces so thoughtfully

I’m so sorry…try not to let it spoil your vacation …We are finally at the gutting stage with the remodel and we found mold!!View attachment 6133691
I’m ready to tear it out with my bare hands. I’m incredibly sick of this project. The previous homeowners did ZERO to take care of this house.
So this is another delay. And the timing is awful as I’m due to leave on vacation on Saturday.I will not buy a bag to soothe my nerves. Ugh!
This is a great choice. It has a bit of pizzazz while still being very functional. Love your yellow bag too! This studded Prada Galleria in calf leather. It was one of the last two at Bergdorf’s. I adore both of these. They should reissue them.My yellow and orange bags haven't changed. I've had the same yellow bag since 2013 and the orange since 2017. The orange one is vintage from 1997. I'm proud of myself for not going overboard in these colors.

I still have the mini pink Prada double zip tote that was the first premier designer bag I ever purchased. So Prada has a special place in my heart and the bags just work really well for me.It’s Stunning!
I still love your Prada gold bag too.
I remember the black nylon bags which made Prada famous and have never considered a Prada bag, but yours are gorgeous, maybe next time I’ll look..
Burgundy and grey are also great everyday colours-I hope the right bags find you this year.
I wish you good health to carry her!❤️❤️
Thank you. I truly need this break and will be ignoring this issue for the week.I’m so sorry…try not to let it spoil your vacation …

It kinda sounds like it’s not the Right Yellow Bag if it has things that look like they were an afterthought.Congratulations on NOT buying
I did NOT buy a pristine, pre-loved Sea Grass (green-yellow) Med Bottega Veneta Point yesterday. It's kinda killing me because I do actually want a yellow bag and it's not a bad price. I like the handheld option, the strap seems like an afterthought. Do I want anything on a bag that looks like an afterthought? I just need to think is that the yellow bag I want.
