She's not red-hot but she's definitely star studded! Another addition to my Coach Soho collection. Just look at that strap!
I love the attention to detail bags from this era have. My fur trimmed bag has a similar strap. When I carry it, I'm always admiring all the little touches that make the bag special, details I feel they don't do as much any more.

Just back from work (or should that be 'work'). Still a few sniffles but my eyes have stopped watering. In the lunch hour I went to the dentist.

I wore my Balenciaga Le City and DMs as planned. Archive off-white Liza Bruce tee and archive black wool Martin Mariela jumper. 2021 black wool Burberry Peacoat. Grey denim jeans from Cos (boyfriend meets barrel). I didn't do SL Le Smoking because it was too cold even with a trench on top.

On my way to the dentist, I found a pair a of pristine Tom Ford for Gucci Dragon heels from SS04 in a preloved agency. They are about 0.5 too big for me, but I still wore them to the event this afternoon (with socks). They're 10.5cm (just over 4") - high - but not impossible. Tomorrow I will go hunting for a half-sole + extra gel pads. Iconic shoes £149 for occasional discomfort of the feet and lifetime of pleasure for the eye, dentist £395 for 15 minutes of pain  .

Sorry about the blurry pic. I will take a better one tomorrow.

Awesome! Will need to see a shot with them on.

@whateve, @dcooney4 I want to give the two of you credit for my favorite new thing! I’d been wondering what to do with my Max Mara Whitney and you both suggested I use it to hold papers, etc.

Ultimately, I decided to keep the bag for its original purpose (business meetings.) BUT! I liked the idea of having a receptacle to keep all of the various non business items I use at different times at home.

Et, voila! I bought this from Amazon and it’s amazing. I can keep everything together and easily bring them from room to room. It holds my laptop, books, journals, sketch pads, pencils, pens, lotion…. The handles and pockets make it so easy to use. And it keeps my things from looking messy in the room.

So thanks for the inspiration! I love how we support each other in the most unexpected ways. View attachment 6134310View attachment 6134311
Glad it works for you. I use a large artisan basket/ bag in my living room to hide my hand-held weights and exercise bands.

Gorgeous Bags! What did you use to condition them?
Saphir Creme Universal, leather balm. I’ve used it for several years and I think it does a great job of moisturizing - but a little goes a long way and I’d definitely try it first in an inconspicuous area.
I used BlackRock Leather and Rich on the Howl and Hide bag because it’s a very sturdy leather.

Love these.

I am literally going to have to stuff the point of the toes with tissue if I want to wear them with tights or bare legs. They are only officially half a size too big. It's annoying that they are the one pair of Guccis that run on the large side.

If anyone has any tips let me know.

Thanks! I have been using Bick 4 or collinil. I will have to check it out.

They are so cool.

Thank you so much.

It is a bit stupid of me to buy shoes I know are too big (OK very stupid). Basically, with this height of heel, I am not going to be walking very far in them anyway. And I've already worn them out once.

I actually have a Liberty purple, metallic-leather makeup bag that would go with them. I need to check current condition.

so i used to do the tissue stuffing with some of my shoes (my feet always fit perfect at first, but keep sliding forward after a couple hours, making the shoes loose in the back).

and then i discovered these generic foam inserts (just search for toe inserts or toe fillers on amazon). they have worked a dream on pointy toed shoes! you can cut them down to size and shape, so I imagine these could work for you too! Best thing is, they’re easy to take in and out whenever you like!

Yesterday, I bought no-colour conditioner for leather bags and wax-polish for leather boots and shoes from Clarks.

I never spray leather (suede and nubuck, yes)

How many here, clean and condition their own leather-goods regularly?
After I use a bag, I look it over before I put it back in the closet and clean or moisturize right away. I like to pull out a bag knowing it is in the best condition it could be in. It makes for easy getting ready in the morning. I also only spray suede or nubuck.
