Thanks, there's a lot of material in the top but because it's a soft, drapey material, it drapes easily to the body. The added interest is really in the hem, which is why you don't want to tuck it in. I chose basic colors so I could just try them out but adding accessories or a jacket can dress them up a bit or change the vibe. In a way I feel bad for contributing to the fast fashion cycle by getting these but they were inexpensive and I do believe I will get several wears out of them.

I have been noticing a lot of fall offerings in rich chocolate brown (several items including dresses, tops, footwear etc). Question for everyone: Is anyone planning on getting anything in this color for the upcoming season?
I love your tops! I don't like to tuck things in so these would be great for me.

I don't have plans to get anything in chocolate brown but if I see a suede hobo I can't resist I might. I already have a pair of boots I love in that color. I can see me wearing a pullover in that color; not really sure if I don't have one already. I'm seeing chocolate brown in a lot of decorating articles too.

Beautiful colour and the charms are very cute, congratulations. What a lovely present, it'll go really well with your new bag.
Thank you!
love it! Are the buckles real buckles or are they magnetic? The little vampire is so stinkin cute. My zatchel bag has magnetic buckles. I have yet to try it it as it is a real fall color.
Thank you! The buckles on the front pockets are decorative. The pockets are open on the top but covered by the flap. The main buckle is magnetic. It has a good level of strength so I just have to drop the flap back down for it to catch. There is a magnet on the back pocket too.

I couldn't resist the vampire. Usually I think about it for awhile but it was so cute I added to cart immediately. It is from an etsy seller I've bought from before. The charms are more expensive than they were last year.

Thank you! Peplum tops are a great alternative to tucking in tops too.

That’s interesting that you’re seeing brown in items other than clothing. Ooh, a suede bag in chocolate brown sounds tempting!
If I run across a leather jacket in rich, chocolate brown, I don’t think I’ll be able to resist.

It won't be 'fast fashion' if you get wear out of them.

Chocolate brown would be perfect for me. I haven't seen much unfortunately. I'd settle for a couple of good vests (tanks) shirts or tees. I have a vest (tank) I bought about 15 years ago and still wearing it (bought in Haight-Ashbury, SF) a silk maxi dress, a pair of wide-leg trousers and a slim-fit brown/white roll neck and that's it. I have some great brown bags though, I would love a few more RTW pieces to pair them with.

A silk maxi dress in chocolate brown sounds wonderful! It's still early so I think we will see more pre-fall clothing start to trickle in with more brown in the weeks ahead. It sounds like you have some nice clothing pieces in brown, but I hope you find a few more to match with your fab brown bags.

Yes - because I love brown! Such a warm and rich color ❤️

Broke the heel of my Miu Miu sequinned mules yesterday out with my cousin. I can't decide whether I should just take them to a repair shop or have a go DIY with glue first.

I bought them a while ago in France, but I am still really annoyed as I've hardly worn them. I have never had problems with Prada shoes, only Miu Miu.
A professional
I’m sorry this happened

Not as high end as you're used to, but if you look at stores for teenagers, you should have an easier time finding jeans that fit you. They're called junior sizes in the US. Don't get the styles that are called curvy. I've worn junior jeans most of my life.
I often find they’re too short!
Despite being 4’11”, my legs are very long-I can wear a 34” inside leg(32’ minimum).
If the width fits, the length is often virtually Capri pants..

Hollister short comes as a 25” inside leg!
But I will have another look, thank you for the suggestion ❤️.

ETA my neutral is navy, so this month I’ll be carrying one of my crocodile bags.

Not sure if you have this store in the UK, but Abercrombie & Fitch makes jeans in a range of sizes, including very tiny ones, and in several lengths. My niece, who is 5’9” and a 0 or 00, swears by them. You just have to try on different styles to find the one that works best for you.

If you want reasonable. Levis do a range of lengths and go 23" waist 32" length. Go for salvage (raw denim). Saint Laurant's are really long and go very small but x the price by 10.

Even cheaper: I don't know how good they are, but Uniqlo now do a made to fit service. They do a Straight Leg, Longer style in 100%. You can even choose the stitching.

We do!

We don’t have the store-the jeans I have are Diesel Slandy(I need to try these on to see whether they fit this year as I’m a few pounds lighter than when I purchased them in January 2024), but I have seen them in TKMAXX-my girlfriend likes shopping there, I could try.

Saint Laurent run small, but have very dubious zips.

Sorry I didn’t realise we had Abercrombie in the U.K.!

Levi’s generally don’t fit me very well-the rise is too high, and hips too wide in the ratio.

Firstly I’ll try my Diesels and see how many pairs I need..Momotaros ladies jeans have fitted me well in the past.

Thank you for the Uniqlo suggestion as well!

I actually wear men's Levis 501s (button fly) and 505s (lower rise, zip, vertically no hips) - but I don't think they go small enough for you.

OK, so today I went food shopping after work. I had to pass several mid-range and fast fashion brand stores - so because you put chocolate brown and bubble-hem I am see these treads everywhere, everywhere, everywhere.

I've never had anything bubble-hem but I am really intrigued. I think you did well with your tops (so long as they're the right size for you). It's a great take on the trend.

I didn't see anything in brown that I loved. I can confidently predict I will have a stash of brown already, I already remembered I have not one but two pairs of brown trousers already, plus a Loewe suede coat and other leather jackets. I need to check my closet before buying more brown for sure.
