I lost the fight for self control this month! We went to Las Vegas and I had a shopping spree. The red Coach is a tiny purse but I plan to use it as a wallet so I'm counting it as a SLG. It was too adorable to leave behind. The cute zebra was a bargain from the Michael Kors outlet. Besides all of these, I bought 3 tops and ordered a pair of shoes, 2 pairs of sandals and a swimsuit.

Sales were dismal this month and not just because we were gone for part of the month. I sold a couple of home items and some jeans.

I got a lot of exercise shopping. I was worried I would have trouble with my foot but it wasn't too bad. I was happy that we came home when we did. I couldn't have handled another day with marathon walking. I used Uber for the first time.

It's already getting too hot to go on daily walks. I've been continuing exercising 3 times a week with the regimen the PT set up for me. I should be able to start swimming towards to the end of the month. I can hardly wait.

I carried 7 bags in April.

My daughter from New York is visiting in a couple weeks!

Wow - impressive book count! What did you think of A Court of Thorns and Roses? I know it's a series, and I have been curious about them.

Bags in or out - 1 in, 0 out - the new in is a leather Moreau Bregancon tote in Champagne. Carrying it today so I am accidentally on for one of the May Challenges!
Scarves in or out - 2 in, 0 out. The new ins are a 140 Moussie Under the Waves, and a vintage La Vie Grand Air - I finally caved to the darling dandelion on it.

Purses carried - 10 different purses, most carried was the Tory Burch bucket bag in ivory. I took it to live in our second home permanently, and I carried it 7 times while we were there in April.

I think I just about managed to flip through Vogue and Elle :doh:

I have ordered Rachael Taylor's new book on Cartier, and just added Rolex and Tiffany too because they are quite inexpensive. Gucci's new book is sadly not though :D

Thank you, I did. My cousin was so grown up (12 today). Very poised, well rehearsed and accomplished..

I'm a bit out of my comfort zone with big family/community events TBH, particularly with some acrimonious stuff going on in the room with other cousins and people asking me how DH is. I can never remember who's not talking to who and DH has always been open about his illness, but I don't know who knows what (or who has told who what). I really don't want to talk about DH without him there as chit chat. I was severely undersugared and tired too by the time we came to the festivities.

I feel I should have bowed out a lot earlier and gone home having just showed my face. It was so nice to see my aunt and talk with her but everyone else is so busy with their family stuff. Anyway, I'm glad I went.

Thank you! I have had it for quite some time now . It is so light weight that I really enjoy wearing it.

Do something enjoyable just for you today, perhaps a stroll on the beach.

It is good to see the challenges at the top again. I did some spring cleaning where I stash my slgs and found so much stuff I forgot about. I have multiple spare chain straps in different colors and sizes. They are giving me ideas of things I can try. Also found some other cute things.

Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate!

I’m doing another pass to trash or donate anything not needed in my home. I’m desperately fighting the “home blindness” we all get which keeps us from seeing clutter as such. :lol:

So, I now have 5 bags and one pair of Louboutin’s in consignment and furniture and other items listed on Facebook Marketplace. (I’m also going to stare at my handbag collection again and see if anything needs to go.)

I wonder if shopping is slowing as I would have thought my items would be selling a bit more briskly. Are any of you seeing slow downs in selling? @whateve I think you mentioned you had seen slowing as well.

I actually did. After getting some leather insoles for my new (spare) DM boots in town, I went to the beach. I even bought myself a sushi box and went down to the beach huts (less crowded). I don't normally buy myself lunch out as it seems so indulgent but today I treated myself.

I fell asleep for 2 hours after lunch!

Carried my small navy Emmy bag with 100% cotton black Gap jeans and Mickey Mouse Disney tee, not particularly Spring-like, but I needed to be town/beach appropriate.
