2024 Resolution: Shopping my own Bag and SLG Collection

I. 2024 Year In Review Reflection

Utilize these thought starters to evaluate your collection, your usage patterns and your lessons learned in 2024.

II. Setting 2025 Goals
Take this month to consider what you want to do with your handbag collection, wardrobe or even your beautiful life in 2025. Share these thoughts in January when we start the 2026 Shopping Your Closet thread.

III. End of year optional challenges

• Holiday colors: December has many holidays celebrated across the world - red & green, brown & gold, blue & white and more! Pick the holiday that you want to honor and wear / show off your bags in those traditional colors.

• End with a bang: As we come to the last part of the year, wear the last bag you’ve purchased at least 3 times this month.

I think meanwhile I am at the stage where all attachments are severed. A week of cold war effectively erased every single seemingly good experience during the last 16 years. Counting the days and fighting paranoia of possible sabotages yet to come.
All I want is OUT!

You'll be so relieved once it is all over. You just have to make it through the next few days. I'm sorry it happened but it's good you realized it and are getting out now.

Thank you! I love the bags from that release. I almost didn't buy it, but I am very glad I did. It surprising goes with a lot of my summer clothes.

I was looking at this bag today. I didn’t purchase it but still thinking on it. It is not a brand that will sell well if I get tired of it. What colors would you wear with this ?

Olive green was a difficult color for me to pair with, found that out after buying a much lusted bag.

Olive green was a difficult color for me to pair with, found that out after buying a much lusted bag.

I loved the look of it but have not bought it yet. I think because it will not work with my summer clothes. It would maybe work for fall but I we are heading into warmer weather here. The leather on that particular bag was beautiful in person and that is what drew me.

It was a Furla bag, forgot the name now. Sort of half shaped moon style, bought in 2017 or 2018.
