• What is your most useful purse?
• What is your best purchase of the year?
• We’ve all had a lot of lifestyle changes this year - how has it affected your style?
• What is the one thing we’ve learned this year that you want to take into the next?

II. Setting 2025 Goals
Take this month to consider what you want to do with your handbag collection, wardrobe or even your beautiful life in 2025. Share these thoughts in January when we start the 2026 Shopping Your Closet thread.

III. End of year optional challenges

• Holiday colors: December has many holidays celebrated across the world - red & green, brown & gold, blue & white and more! Pick the holiday that you want to honor and wear / show off your bags in those traditional colors.

• End with a bang: As we come to the last part of the year, wear the last bag you’ve purchased at least 3 times this month.

Ok I'm going to try to copy this from the wrong thread....
Hi all sorry I was away for so long, I hope everyone is well.
I got rid of a bunch of shoes that were very old and worn out ( and scarcely used any longer.) now I need to find a few good comfortable basics to fill in some gaps.
I have a few loafers that really need replacing but I have trouble finding stylish but super comfortable ones like I have now. The ones I have are from Sperry and are very cushy inside, but look worse for wear.
Any recommendations for comfy loafers are appreciated!
I am also looking for a cute lightweight summery bag and have these two that I'm debating over.
One is a mini pale pink Ricky that is just too cute and I've wanted pink for a long time; but the hardware is a bit busy on such a small bag and I have cream bags so how different is it really?
The other is a silver lizard petite peekaboo that I am in love with. It's stunning but I do not baby my bags. I have bags to take to Costco, to wear to Walmart , and they go in the wagon, on the floor of my car etc.
I don't know how delicate lizard is, and realistically can I do that with lizard?
( I have by Bvlgari silvery gold karung bag as my dressy bag that rarely gets used, I don't want another that will be rarely used.)
Any thoughts of why one vs the other ?
sorry this got so long

Regarding loafers, I'm no expert and have just gotten into them but if you like to splurge, I love the Hermes Paris loafers. They are buttery soft and do not need breaking in. However, they are only good for narrow feet. I have heard good things about the Gucci loafers, they are a classic, and once worn in, are also very comfortable.

I have heard that lizard is relatively durable and not too difficult to take care of. The scales are small and compact and are unlikely to lift like python. Having a lizard bag is on my dream wishlist someday, I just need to stop banging my bags around, literally lol.
I feel that if you love the lizard peekaboo and you're out of love with the Bvlgari, it would be a good one-in, one-out swap.
However, if you feel that in your experience, the silver lizard peekaboo would become another rarely used bag, I'd wait a little longer to think about it. Of course, if you love it enough, you can just get it and be happy it with being in your collection!

Here are pics of the two I'm debating over.
ETA I love exotics but realistically I don't think a croc or gator is in my budget, but I'm hoping the lizard will scratch that desire.
However my full size Ricky is my most favorite treasured bag ( although because of its weight, it's not often used).

Yea, the ralph lauren bag is pretty busy. It's not really my taste or style so I'm biased and it would be a no for me.

Unfortunately I can't sell the Bvlgari bag because the repair Bvlgari did for me was not flawless ( there were some orange stains near the chain inside the flap) and I can't imagine anyone would want it.
If I get the lizard I'd want to happily use it often , not as a special occasion bag, but I'm not sure it will hold up to that kind of use.
