December Activities and Challenges - pick and choose as you please.

I. 2024 Year In Review Reflection
(Thanks @Vintage Leather)

Utilize these thought starters to evaluate your collection, your usage patterns and your lessons learned in 2024.
• What is your most useful purse?
• What is your best purchase of the year?
• We’ve all had a lot of lifestyle changes this year - how has it affected your style?
• What is the one thing we’ve learned this year that you want to take into the next?

II. Setting 2025 Goals
Take this month to consider what you want to do with your handbag collection, wardrobe or even your beautiful life in 2025. Share these thoughts in January when we start the 2026 Shopping Your Closet thread.

III. End of year optional challenges

• Holiday colors: December has many holidays celebrated across the world - red & green, brown & gold, blue & white and more! Pick the holiday that you want to honor and wear / show off your bags in those traditional colors.

• End with a bang: As we come to the last part of the year, wear the last bag you’ve purchased at least 3 times this month.

@Vlad please pin this to the top of our thread.

I’m also very hard on myself..I’m giving myself just today..to reflect on the past week, which has been so sudden, then off to my parents tomorrow , where my Father is the carer for my Mother who suffers from dementia .
I should have gone today, but in the end didn’t feel I could give the support they need, and my 2 cats also need me here as they are feeling Tammy’s sudden loss as well.
I don’t think anybody else is as hard on me as I am on myself-setting oneself impossible goals isn’t always the best thing..
Be gentle with yourself.

Just quoting the line does it add to my collection and fill a gap that I don’t already have?

I have 2 navy crocodile handbags -and am gradually selling the others , and at this rate will replace them and Only have a collection of navy crocodile handbags omg!

Except for my Prussia blue ostrich bag-which I’m Also considering selling to go towards another croc bag!
Just something this reminded me of: :giggle:

Thank you! I failed to mention that I came back from Christmas very tired of going through stuff (only a small storage unit's worth, thank goodness, but it's still half-full) determined to get rid of 10 things a day. So far it's worked for January, trying to push through February.
I have the “Throw 10” rule as well..
When I clear my closet, I try to sort out 10 pieces each season/clear out..last time was less, I wasn’t hard enough on myself..at the end of winter I’ll be a bit more ruthless ..
Keep going ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

10 scarves out!?! Wow!

It's great to experiment. You change the whole feel of a bag with a charm, or bring out a detail/colour of an outfit, even just cheer yourself up. I have very few bag charms. Some of them came with a bag, but I have around 4 that I bought just for themselves. So long as you actually love the charm for itself and it goes with at least one bag, all good.

Well, the scarves are not technically out the door yet (unlike most everything else this month) but they're ready to go.

The charm (an anchor on a ribbon) is flashier than I expected. I'll give it a shot, and pass it on if it doesn't work.

I'm just popping in to say that mum has started making small improvements. She's still in critical condition but is slowly moving in the right direction. Sorry I have yet to read the thread and reply to individual posts, but I want to thank you all for being with me during this tough time.
That’s wonderful news..of course she’s still very ill..but that is so good to read..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Let’s pray she continues to improve .

You're doing way more than I am. I have been doing so much juggling of other stuff. I am inspired by you.
