My money is safe if it should be purple. Don’t dislike purple but the above photo, that shade I absolutely hate. If it’s a light shade I can see many people going for it……..
Very consistent reports on the purple though. Probably just me, but I actually love the sugulite combined with the RG.
It is a beautiful combination, no doubt. I am simply not a rose gold person. Yellow gold would be awesome and that would capture my interest. But given the rigorous HP allocation process, I wonder if I would be even offered one.

Same, although I'd much prefer a lighter shade of purple, like lavender or periwinkle, it'll go nicely with the RG.
Oh no, I want proper jewel-toned purple…a lighter shade would be better in WG, I think…..to be honest, this is all academic, because I won’t be buying this year!
I love purple and I love RG but purple jewelry would be hard for me to wear on a regular basis so I would probably pass because when buying expensive jewelry I prefer to get pieces that are more versatile.
I've been hoping for Jade for ages. Well at least my money is safe if it's indeed a purple stone.
It all comes down to personal preference. I've seen a member with a SO of chalcedony with YG and the Dubai special edition, the warm metal really enhances the lilac/purple tone, whereas WG would make it look more fresh and icy. I think when it comes to pastels you can go either way and still look nice. But if it's a jewel toned purple then yeah, warm metal such as YG/RG would be ideal.
You’re right actually, the Dubai edition looks beautiful in the warmer metal.
