It won't be WG. It's time for something else. I'm okay with that as it means I can take a pass this year.

All VVIPs can get an HP if they want it.

In terms of the list, I think a lot of typical VIPs will be able to get one of these if they want it, oo. You don't need to be a VVIP. I think VIPs are generally defined as people with a consistent purchase history with their SA. Consistent meaning spending at least $5K a year, most years, on something other than the HP. Or someone who has spent >$12K in recent years. Or when the SA reaches out to you offering something that's not outrageous (like $5-10K), you don't pass on it. Then the SA will later tell you an HP is there if you want it.

The shopper with the biggest hurdles is the person with no purchase history who is hoping that they can get an HP just because or thinking that maybe buying a YG SA pendant will be enough. -Probably not.

I think the hurdle is even tougher than this. I consistently spent more than 20k every year but hasn't been asked to book an appointment (to-date).

Probably there are bigger spenders over at this side of the world. It's ok to me, I am honestly not hard up for the HP.... even if it is a colour combo I love as I know I will eventually be able to get one if I want it.

:)

VCA does not have a standard selection criteria, I have noticed it varies from place to place and from SA to SA. I condemn buying and selling immediately, mostly influencers :/ denying some people the chance to experience buying it from the boutique. I hope you get one if it is something that you really love.
Thank you. My rabbit hole with VCA started with the gold MOP holiday pendant and I would hate to break that tradition this year

I wasn’t asked to set up an appt but my SA told me I’m on the list! Maybe ask your SA?

I am in the same boat - 40k spent over the last two years (in-store and online), yet no call/ appointment for HP.

Maybe just ask your SA so he/she can keep track of it for you? I asked my SA last week, although he said he isn't sure the definitive quantity they'll be receiving, if possible he'll put one on hold for me. My total spend at that boutique is far less than yours.

Asked my SA via text this week and did not get a response back, though the message was read :-( I love the brand and VCA jewellery pieces, but tired of the unclear "rules" and SA discretion. Wish things were simpler!

Don't fret! I feel at the end, those who want it will probably be able to get it (though I would probably send your SA another text haha). I wasn't offered one last year and after a few months my SA asked if I wanted one but I didn't like the color and I was annoyed at the game they were playing. This year my SA said she put me on the list so fingers crossed it will be a bit easier this time around!

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get one if you express interest in purchasing it. Even with the madness last year, most people ended up getting offered one (some even got 3!). It may not be the initial batch on launch date but people were purchasing HP late into March if you don't mind the wait

Years ago, the holiday pendant was readily available. Last year, I spent more money than in previous years (although not even close to $40k), all with the same SA and was essentially ghosted when I inquired about the HP. Months later, he did reach out to me to say he wanted to show me a watch…

I moved my spending back to Cartier/Rolex after the gamesmanship. Maybe others are in the same boat as me, but I don’t have much interest in the HP because it’s so hard to get.

I’ll continue to pop in and out of this thread to see what the HP is. Hopefully everyone who wants one gets it this year!

As far as I was told, the HP allocations are by waves where priority (or the 1st wave) has been given to those VVIPs, clients who have High Jewelry purchase records, or other clients with consistent spending history over the years. Usually clients who had been allocated before in the past years should be automatically included in the offer list (though I am not sure in which wave). I am not that crazy over HP allocation to be honest - I mean I would take it if I get offered and the overall HP combination speaks to me however, if not - it's not the end of the world either. Most people are swayed through because it's so called "limited" and some even got it not because they like/keep it, but only to resell it again for profit unfortunately.
