Thank you!
Unfortunately, Jeanine Payer isn't making jewelry any longer. I think she stopped when the pressures of family and a successful business got to be too much. You can still find pieces on ebay though! I love mine - each inscription means something to me.
This bracelet has an Apache blessing and because I have an unpleasant medical procedure this afternoon, its giving me some good and positive vibes.

Good luck and speedy recovery!

Congrats to all of you who are doing well with this month’s challenges. I, however, am going down in flames.

We’re in the midst of a big home project
(so smart right before the holidays right?)
And, I’m still making up work from time lost with my surgeries. So, I’ve had probably the least rotation in a month that I’ve ever had.

But!!! December is my bday month and holiday / party month so I’ll have much more opportunity to wear my glittery fun bags.

Speaking of my bday. Mr. Sparkle has asked me repeatedly what I want. The only thing I can think of is jewelry (?). There isn’t a bag I have my eye on right now. I’m curious, though. What bag is on your holiday wish list?

A woven Loewe hammock.

Here is a dilemma I have been wearing the Carolina Herrera bag for days and it is light weight and practical yet I don’t love it. I am tempted to drop it off at the consignment shop. What would you do?
I don't think so. There are a lot of things about it that I like, but also on this one I am just not crazy about the big logo in the front and the contrast stitching. Normally I like contrast stitching but on this one not so much.
I think I will bring it to her some time this week or next and if it sells fine and if not then I was meant to keep it.
I think you made the right decision. I’m really holding my whole closet to “I need to love it” standard. I’m forcing myself to accept that “practical” and “love” can and should exist in the same item. Which is hard because I felt that certain items like a bathrobe or hoodie couldn’t be things I loved or that heels and special occasion bags couldn’t always be comfortable and practical. But, they can! It just takes more work to find the combo. :-s

I just got an offer today on a bag I’ve tried to sell for a year and a half. The offer is for a little less than I’d like to make on it. I’m torn as to whether I should take it or chance selling it during the holiday season.

I’m thinking sell since it was up for sale so long - both with me and a consignment shop. But, gosh, I feel like I’m taking a bath on it.

What do you think???

I’d take it - bird in the hand and all that. You’ll forget about it once it’s gone!

A couple of thoughts.
1. Now might be a good time to consign, before the holidays, since people are looking for presents at bargain prices. So it makes sense to consign it now if you aren't feeling the love.
2. On the other hand, if there's a possibility that your feelings might change (you loved it once, I assume?) then you could hide it for a few months and "rediscover it in April. Absence makes the heart grow fonder! :giggle:

Sell it!

I sold it. :-s Money already received through PayPal and I’ll ship it off on Friday.

If nothing else, I made enough money to purchase one of the work bags I’m still dithering over.

Most of my work suits are grey or navy with a few black thrown in. My work dresses are also mostly grey, black and shades of blue with a very few colors like or red to break up the monotony. I have a black work bag. Should I get burgundy or bottle (dark) green next? I’m thinking green because it’s hard to find that color and I can wear it to my sorority functions. (I had actually settled on that color but was waiting for it to come back in stock which it now is.) But then, I have been searching for burgundy which is a color I adore and haven’t found one. (Limited stock in this color so I’m feeling a little pressure. :panic:CB625776-3D3C-4CB9-B136-82FCF9C6186D.jpeg130B8B22-4F8D-4B66-B917-128C27D82811.jpeg
