I’d love to see your Jeanine Payer bracelet to compare! I think it’s something about the way the Bone Cuff is supposed to fit. That bump is supposed to go over the bone of your wrist, but when I put it on that way, it feels like the cuff is too close to my hand, too much up against where my wrist bends. But if I push it up my arm a little, it doesn’t look right.
I love love love bracelets — they are probably my favorite type of jewelry. But I’ve realized I only wear the ones that are easy and comfortable. I’m selling a couple of my H enamel bangles because, pretty as they are, it hurts to put them on and off, and once they’re on, they bang into things. So my new mantra is any new bracelet has to be easy on, easy off, and comfortable. The bone cuff fits the first criteria but I’m not sure enough about the second.
second wear of Bal Bazar M today
i have left 3 more black bags and one evening clutch to wear till the end of the month, looks like mission will be accomplished successfully!![]()
Bracelets are my favorite too - but bangles are not. They are either too hard to get on (I love my jade bangles but it is an effort to get them off and on) or they bang into things, and worst of all - when I’m working on my laptop they are always pressing into my wrist.
All my JP bracelets are open like this one and easy to get into. My favorite thing about them though is the inscriptions [emoji173]️
These aren’t great photos but I hope they help!

Thank you!I love this! I hadn’t heard of this brand, so must check it out. I can see how, although the cuff is wide, it doesn’t have the bulk of the Bone cuff. The inscription gives it some delicacy and I like the way yours is getting patina.
Thank you!
Unfortunately, Jeanine Payer isn't making jewelry any longer. I think she stopped when the pressures of family and a successful business got to be too much. You can still find pieces on ebay though! I love mine - each inscription means something to me.
This bracelet has an Apache blessing and because I have an unpleasant medical procedure this afternoon, its giving me some good and positive vibes.![]()
thanks!Good luck with the medical procedure!
thanks!
I'm sorry if I misled you on the jewelryI only meant that I have a wide bracelet that doesn't bother me so I can't figure out why the Bone cuff doesn't work for me.
@ksuromax is probably correct in that it's a proportion issue.
Best of luck with the medical procedure.Thank you!

Last Night by Dmitri Rybaltchenko, current seasonWhich H scarf is this? I love the red hem!
Oooh! This is totally gorgeous!I certainly will! Actually, I already did get myself something in anticipation of DH’s surgery .... a John Hardy Naga cuff. I don’t have a good mod shot (turns out it’s not always easy to photograph your own arm, lol), so here’s a stock photo.
In my defense, I also sent several H items (a couple of unused scarves and bracelets, plus three watch bands) to Fashionphile, so there are a few “outs” to balance the “in!”

I’m not big on bracelets. Mainly because the ones I think are gorgeous - cuffs and bangles - are the ones it’s tough to wear. Like you mentioned, they bang on my desk and keyboard. The other thing I don’t like is that because of this, they scuff and have to be polished every time I turn around.Bracelets are my favorite too - but bangles are not. OMG! This is so me!!! This is half the reason most of my bags are preloved. I don’t follow instagrammers or bloggers, I hate to shop and I don’t have one friend who gives a hoot about her wardrobe much past it being clean and neat. Lol! So, when I started getting serious about buying nice bags (and other things) I always found things I loved because someone in TPF shared it. But, it could have been a decade old and long since discontinued. Lol!And BTW, it’s part of my MO to “discover” things after they’re no longer available!![]()
What a killer gorgeous pattern!Last Night by Dmitri Rybaltchenko, current season
