I think your Peggy Wellington has the same leather as my mini 1984 (rehomed since it's too mini for me). Totally loved that leather!

Speaking of great MJ leather bags, I have 2 more which I really have not used in a while - 1984 in Terra Cotta and 54 in Flame Red. I'm not sure that I can bear to part with the 1984, it's just that this flap satchel bags are not my style. But the leather on this bag, again I gues same as your Peggy, is just wonderful! Then the 54. I think it is the really fiery red versus bright gold-tone hardware in a size of about 14"x10"x4(?) that is just too striking for me.
I have a 54 Mini (smaller than your 54, I think... about 10" wide) in Flame Red that I'm just crazy about. I got it 4 years ago, and every time I pull it out to wear it makes me happy. Especially when I remember to wear it with this scarf! :amuse:

@Sparkletastic yes! You need a really carefree bag! You won't even care touching it with a bit of sunscreen residue on some fingers. It's easy for certain situations where a truly utilitarian tote is just no fun.
What about a beater neverfull or panarea ? Something in fair condition that has been well loved that still can haul and you could get one on the cheap?

Sorry I haven’t been able to do anything but fly by and “like” posts today... have spent the day running errands and packing to go visit my parents tomorrow. I haven’t flown in forever so it’s a little nervewracking! Just to have a picture to post, here’s my Longchamp le Pliage in Indigo with my Longchamp Mademoiselle nestled inside (or maybe I should be honest and say “crammed inside!”). No luxury bags on this trip!

My carefree beach bag is my Prada jute bag.
My carefree every day bag is my Jimmy Choo hobo. But, I’m still not going to be careless with these. So, I do need something I can get messy. Nylon seems like a good option.

You know I’m not a tote gal despite trying LOL! So a panarea or neverfull won’t work. Something crossbody would be perfect. I need to look around. Maybe I’ll get a couple. I will default to black but a color would be fun!
The nylon used to be under the MbMJ line (anyone correct me if I'm wrong). But MJ and MbMJ have now merged into just MJ.

Thanks!
Thanks for letting me know!

I’m seeing @dcooney4 ‘s and @HopelessBagGirl ‘s MZ Wallace bags and thinking I need a truly carefree, non leather cross body bag.

I’ve been looking at Prada nylon bags but the cost is cuckoo. I’m not a big fan of Longchamps. Any other suggestions? Something still really cute so I’ll actually want to wear it. LOL! But also durable.
Mz has so many different styles and colors to choose from. They are super quality and have lots of built in organization . A lot of them have multiple strap options that they come with.

I’m making slow progress and listed another bag for sale.

So, of the 20 bags planned to go from my collection and my closet:
• 2 have sold
• 3 donated
• 2 to consignment
• 2 listed are for sale
• 2 I’m still on the bubble about parting with

That leaves a minimum of 9 bags and 1 SLG still left to list. Argh!

I’ve gotten really lowball offers with crazy messages on one bag - the teal Gucci Soho. The red Soho is the one I got scammed on so I wonder if there is weirdness with this product line and potential buyers. :whut:

That is annoying. That is why I don’t sell high end stuff myself.

Ugh - mini rant here - I hate reselling.
I have a few scarves listed on Posh and someone is insisting that one of the scarves is fake. I keep insisting that they do a little research, and even suggesting that they come to tPF to have it authenticated… but noooooooo.
It's very frustrating and I'm trying to be nice but I don't wanna be nice anymore! :annoyed:

(thanks for listening! :flowers:)

Can’t you just tell them off? Some people just try to discredit you and swoop in for a cheaper deal.

LeSport Sac? I like their stuff, but the print are kinda you have to grab it if you love it coz there’re so many prints you can choose from. Sometimes, they have special designs for the collection, too. I love mine.

Kipling is also another good alternative in my book. Very reliable.
