2018 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

I completely agree and think PPW is more important!Yes, I think so. And I've heard (I didn't invent this, but I can't remember where I saw it) that there should be, in addition to CPW, a category called PPW: pleasure per wear.
So, f'rinstance, my two LV bags... Capucines BB and Montaigne BB... which are a bit on the small side, are honestly not the most practical bags in my collection. I have to plan a bit for their use. They don't fit my iPad, or a notebook, or really anything "extra" other than my absolute basics. But they are my most luxe bags, I adore the shape and the leather, and I always feel very special when I am carrying either of them.
CPW on either of these? Not necessarily so great. PPW? Excellent!
I almost squeal with happy every time I wear my silver Dior. There is no way I’m getting this bag down to a “reasonable” CPW. But I most assuredly am thrilled to have and wear it.
Happy trumps the financial calculations every time. Otherwise I could buy one serviceable and functional bag for $20 bucks and wear it everyday. The CPW of a few cents would be accompanied by misery.

Maybe we appreciate them more because we wear them less? 
It's my dream to live in a car-optional place, in the US, that isn't too overcrowded. Please tell me where this is if you've found it!I need one, too!!!

I'm so glad that bag IS green- what a gorgeous shade!!! I must have missed a page, since I know you were referencing it but thought you were 'looking for' a black tote.
Today I actually looked at (while passing by) one of those folding carts to schlep things in. (I'm looking at you, super heavy leather tote bags filled to the brim!!!) So then i thought, how ridiculous is it to schlep around my very very heavy handbag in a folding cart?! So I hung it back up and left.
Then I came back and bought it online!!!I think it weighs 2 lbs. Sure beats all that weight and achiness from carting it all day!!! Does anyone actually do this?! (You all probably live in car towns!!! ...aaand now I feel like I've instantly aged 50 more years...

Whew we are finally in the US and all done with traveling for today. Moving down South tomorrow but in the big Apple tonight.

I managed to drop my hand onto the bag and in the process scratched my nail against the leather. But no marks!! I also wonder what beating that bag in the outlet took!

Wow, she's really beautiful! I love the green on this one, really rich and sophisticated. Equally good for spring as it is for fall. Balanced could be the right term. Alas, I think she is too ladylike for me since the crossbody and the top handle are both short.
The Coach NASA collection is incredibly cool and cute at the same time!
