I hope all get much better for you and your family very soon. :flowers:

That was ridiculous for that guy to do that.

I don’t post to my instagram. And, I really despise FB. I don’t “get” why I would want (distantly connected) people to know what I’m up to on a daily basis and I don’t feel the need to know what others (distantly connected) are doing either.

Especially since it’s not really limited to true friends. I’m “friends” with people I know from grade school, random jobs, my college sorority, etc. If you wouldn’t even really care if I won the lottery, died or got beamed away by aliens, why should we know about each others’ personal live? LOL!

I hear people say they manage their brand on FB and other social media. These are regular folk. Not media darlings. I think “huh?”

Last comment on FB. I’m always amazed at how comfortable people are making rude, hateful and / or crass comments. You really get to know some better than you’d like. :whut:
Ditto!

I totally hate how my name is unique so it’s completely easy to find me across all social media platforms I’m on. So I try not to share actual photos of me here. Unless that photo recognition works on bags too then I may need to cut back on posting here and just on my Instagram.

Best wishes for everyone, be strong to get through what hurdles you have whether it be physical or mental. [emoji177] we’re all here for you!
i so hear you! Same with me, i am one and only with the name+surname combo. But we have an advantage, too - all accounts are free for you, should you need a new email, skype or any other login, and you don't waste time trying to find a free one :D

Getting back to handbags. What is everyone’s favorite new trend(s) in bags?

I’ve been a huge lover of quilting and chain straps. (obviously, lol!) But, I’m thinking I want to try something different. What’s new, fun and beautiful? What’s catching your eye?

if earlier i was hugely leaning towards hobos, now i am equally liking/using totes
i still love my hobos, but i have acquired a few Cabats and i really love the ease of them!

Nothing much?

I like medium sized bag. I now downsize myself from big to medium. I can do small on a good day, but prefer medium and if I could, small-mrdium since it'll easier on my shoulders.

I like the mismatch strap although I never try one yet, but it's a good sign of flexibility to me. Thinking about this, maybe I can use my Massaccesi strap with my Bal Cities so I don't have to worry about the strap. I have my Arctic Selene Midi done with customization strap, but never get to use it. I also just got a new strap comes with my Theia, which may happen because the miscommunication or what, who knows. But I definitely can switch straps around.

Backpack. Although I don't carry them much, it definitely means more options and I like that.

RFID offered in wallets. I hope one day the luxury brand will catch up on this, for now, the startup has this edge or else, I'll have to buy the blocker for every shot on the WOC.

Colorful bags and accessories including all the novelty clutch. I don't care for black bags. Never big on them. There were days when colors were rarely offered but black, brown, blue, and white. Even red was a god-send. I'm glad those days are gone and we have so many colors and fun things to play with.

These are all I can think of now.

Diane's got a Cabat in Barolo and it's dreamy, very easy colour, basically next-to-black neutral
i am done with Cabats, at least for now, i wanted a mini - i got it, but my alerts are still on and get email notifications every time something new is listed, so it's not a problem to alert you if i see one fitting the bill ;)
on the size, i'd say both mini (won't be Barolo anyway) and medium are great everyday sizes, i posted a lot of pics in BV threads, and a few comparisons in the ref library, you can check what fits in (need to add my mini to the comparison thread as well) to see if that would work for you :)

Yes, I know, it really is dreamy! I am following the BV threads closely... [emoji7]

Let us know what you decide.

Coach Parker is a keeper! On Saturday, I took it to run some errands with a non-print outfit and in the evening went to the open air concert with a print top. Feeling, comfort and usability were great! And no worries about spilled drinks etc. ... Interestingly, however, when I opened the bag to get a tissue, DBF‘s friend looked right inside my bag! Really curious, this one. Not the Parker‘s fault, but he could see everything [emoji1]

Pictures do not work ATM [emoji853]

Am liking hobos (not too unstructured though) and getting interested in backpacks.

On the handbag front, Mom bought me a bag! Well, not sure if the second is considered a bag or SLG.

One is the turnlock pouch in Cloud and the penny in navy.

The penny makes a perfect SLG for my battery pack. I plan to modify the strap to become removable.

The turnlock pouch I’ll ask my boutique to add tea roses too.

I’m beginning to wonder if those near me are noticing I’m not buying as many bags now. So I get gifts lol.

These 2 are really cute and practical, those are my kind of colours too, congratulations on both

I am trying to shop my closet. I really am. I have a major hankering for a loup noir canvas leather trim shopper because they are pretty but I'm taking a fierce attitude to try to love my le pliages. I took the pink one to get attachments for adding a cute long strap I have that will look great with it and carrying my purple one now with pretty long strap added, bag shaper in it so it's not hard to find stuff in bottom corners, and trying to figure out the opening so it feels as "easy" as I prefer. The zipper plus flap is not my favorite configuration. Leaving zipper open and just using the flap seems to be the only option. Let's see if I can find this bag to be the lightweight "carry all" I crave. Or the pink one or both!

Then the Polene numero in in the tan/beige tricolour. I really want it. But I'm telling myself that my fendi Mia degrade shopper is also in the same 3 color leathers and also isn't heavy, I weighed it. It's so big but part of it is the lack of structured when I don't have much in it and the bag shaper helps a ton to square it out so it doesn't look giant from the front. And the sides are getting attached at the cobbler's now to cinch in the side like a gusset pleat so the opening won't gape open so wide at the top and it will shrink the visual footprint as well, without restricting access or capacity. Also adding small attachments to the sides so I can use a long strap for crossbody and shoulder carry that's more comfortable than those chain handles.

It takes a lot of musing to figure out why a bag isn't quite what you want and figure out if any hacks at the cobblers and additional straps could help. But I hope this solves my cravings for the tricolour tan beige Polene numero in by making the fendi a more compact and easy to carry bag that works better for me. Lord knows the bubbled lamb on this bag is lightyears nicer to the touch than the Polene and I actually like the look better. But the size has been hard for me.

Thanks for listening!

Yes, the necklace on top, or part of it on top, and part under. Again, think of it as being a casual rather than a "finished" look. I've learned a lot from other tPF members' photos... I used to be MUCH too fussy about my scarf-tying. Every knot had to look perfect. Now I just kind of toss it together, and I find it looks a whole lot better. Less "buttoned up," if you will.
Thank you! I'm going to give this a try.
