This has happened to me. Sometimes I end up giving it away rather then selling so I can pick the person who will treasure it. Other times I hold it a bit longer only to discover that I should have sold a bag because when I pull it out again, I am like what was I thinking. Don't stress over it just put the ones you are keeping in a prominent place where they are easy to use. Sometimes it helps to pull every bag you own out put them on your bed then organize them by size or style or color and start by removing the ones you like least .

I did that once. Pulled them all out and put them on the bed. That's what lead to the mass selling and give away I did two years ago.

I look at that picture and see how far I've come to figure out what works for me and which bags survived my many closet cleanouts.

These are what I have from Hermes ... my two Trim II bags ... both in regular rotation.
And then the four scarves. When I joined TPF, I knew a few things about bags but I had barely ever heard of Hermès scarves. Others, especially Elaine, educated me to their beauty and creativity. So I gradually picked up these four. I don't know their "scarf name" so I will describe them like this… the center one, which first amazed me, is the story of Alexandra David Neal on her ascent to Lhasa, Tibet; then below that on the right is the Kimono scarf with the amazing bird; then one that shows traditional costumes from around the world; and finally on the top left, the gardens of Andalucía. I have a season of the year when I wear these quite a bit. Sorry that the scarves are visually confusing. They are hard for a novice to photograph but I got them all in!IMG_2593.JPGIMG_0990.JPG

I am sure they will go quickly.

They did! When I got into work this morning I sent an email to two women I work with...I work with many women but I just knew these two would truly appreciate them if they did in fact want them. One of them wants all three Nikkis (yay!) and the other wants the two MK bags I also was parting with (she is so sweet and lovely, she wanted to know what I wanted for them...!)

I do not feel torn about about them leaving my collection at all now that I know they are going to good homes :flowers:

Herbag with Petit h dolphin charm.

I also have a couple of scarves, a Silk' In coin purse and a Petit h brooch.

I will try to get un-lazy and take photos. [emoji6]
Gorgeous H collection, fabulous variety!

Thank you, Elaine! My H scarf collection is made up of 2 scarves. [emoji23] Nowhere near the number of beautiful scarves that you have.

I hope that I at least use them to complement my H bags, if not match them. Brazil II scarf. Yes, the strap came with my bag. The bag color is colvert and the strap is bleu atoll. I was very fortunate to find this combination.

This is probably the last time that I should post this Picotin photo, as I have posted it several times before. Minuit au Faubourg scarf.

I found a previously taken photo of my Silk' In coin purse. The color is bleu electrique. The lining is bolduc. I used a stock photo of the lining as it is very difficult to hold it open and take a pic.

I am allowed to continue to be lazy, as I found all these photos on my phone!! In my defense, it's over 90 degrees outside; even if you're by the water it's hot! [emoji295]️ [emoji95] [emoji91]
Pretty scarves, that Bleu electtrique Silk'In is beautiful!

Missed last week's brands because of holidays - a good reason ;) - I will try to post them this week. And here is my Hermès Garden Party for this week:

Lovely Garden Party!

Sort of random in light of the current discussion but I was not sure where else to fit this.

So, in the pursuit to only keep bags I love and use...I have had three Rebecca Minkoff Nikki hobos on the chopping block since January. They are my last holdouts of my RM bags and I just could not let them go so I put them into "storage" to see if I ever reached for them before saying goodbye. I have not really been counting them in my collection as I suppose internally I already knew they were gone. I have not turned to them once, and each time I have thought of it I have reached for something else.

I did try them on again today - to give them one last chance - and decided they just do not work for me anymore, at all. I love the colours, and the wonderful leathers, and that is really the only reason why I have been holding onto them. Otherwise, they just don't work - the shape, the lack of structure, the shoulder drop, the shoulder strap...it has been hard as the colours and the wonderful old school RM leathers bring me joy, but the actual function and enjoyment...just do not!

I decided to pack them up for the final time today and tomorrow I will see if a couple of my coworkers want them - I would love to see someone else loving and using them, if it could not be me! If they aren't interested, I will donate them. I am also going to pack up a couple MK bags that are sort of redundant in my collection to see if my coworkers want them, if not they too will be going to donation.

Of all my bags I purged (I purged 15+ earlier this year), these three RMs have been the most "difficult" to let go of! I do not think I will regret it once they are gone, but it is just taking that step. Anyone else have that one (or more!) bag that they knew they were not going to love or use, but just had a hard time actually letting go of? Did you keep it, or did you eventually set it free (ha ha)?
Congratulations on purging 15+, that is a huge accomplishment!

While I've been gone from on-line business Photobucket ate all my photos :coolio: so I may be image-light for a while.

I will try to catch-up soon and look forward to seeing your H, Choos and MG bags. I think most of you have seen my H bags/SLGs anyway and I sadly don't have any JC or MGs.

No bag purchases from me during July, I haven't even been to H to check out the AW17 scarves

I am spending too much time thinking about Gucci though, I went to an event on Weds at Harrods (London) and they have some very nice new things including something called DIY which lets the buyer do the customising. Gucci sent me the most beautiful embroidered green silk, toile lined pouch, they know how to seduce me...:p
Sorry to hear Photobucket ate your photos.

They are hard for a novice to photograph but I got them all in!View attachment 3789317View attachment 3789316

Love the scarves! And your Trim bags are in great condition!

I really like these bags! I remember when you scored the second one.

I could soooo see myself buying one. They remind me a bit of Gucci Jackie bags (or the Jackies remind me of these - don't know who came first. LOL!)
