She is a true tomboy. It's kind of funny we became such good friends, because I like girly girl, pink, perfume, jewelry, bags kind of stuff and she can drive her own motorcycle, shingle her roof and change the oil in your car!
I'm impressed. But I'm a girly girl like you.
Another dress lady. I'm outnumbered. [emoji23]
I don't think so. I think 90% of women rarely wear dresses now. People usually comment when I wear a dress - even if it's casual - and say "you're so dressed up". I don't think I look dressed up. Unless of course it's a dressy dress. LOL!
That's a great idea. Papertiger, post the bag/s you'd like a strap for, we can find ideas.
Love this idea, @papertiger & @Hobbsy
Very useful friend to have!

Dresses make life easy I think - one thing sprung from the wardrobe and you're pretty much coordinated  they don't need to be "dressy" IMO but it still looks like you've made an effort (even though you haven't)
Exactly. It's one of the few things in life where you get credit for doing nothing. LOL!
Thanks for all the skirt love everyone, I find it very useful. It comes up roomy so anyone thinking about it may want to size down.

Yes please, that would be great.

Budget under $1K, but cheap as you like.
Not too OTT but I think it will be hard to detract from the beauty of the bag so if in doubt show me.
Contrasting colour fine
No rough edges on the underside or even things that could scratch the bag if worn 'dangling'. Box leather scratches easily as does skin.

First and fore-mostly, would love to find a strap for this bag:

H Bolide (very much like an Alma or Gucci Catherine). The strap rings are fine, ghw and fairly small (located next to the handles, diagonally one each side opposite). Shoulder length is more appropriate because of the depth of the base it would not be a good X-body.

This bag with this scarf is everything!!! Where would the strap attach?

What do people think of this one? Is it too long?

It has built in rings by the handles. Rings are fine, ghw and fairly small though.

I do need to distract myself. And something that would point to my wardrobe would be a good idea. But other then fine jewelry and sunnies, I don't really wear accessories. And I've bought most of the fine jewelry and al the sunnies I planned to buy this year.

I need a battle plan for my wardrobe like when I had my list of bags to buy. I tried to make a list of things I want / need starting with a capsule wardrobe. But I didn't find much on line to help since I prefer the foundation of my wardrobe to be dresses v separates.

But no excuses. I need to make a list. That will make shopping easier. Right now my wardrobe reboot just feels like I'm on a foggy road to somewhere. :confused1: I have 20% great pieces and 80% needs to go. But I can't be naked :oh: so I have to do this a little at a time.
I haven't read far enough to see where everyone probably already answered, but what if you focus on building that wardrobe around your bags? That'll make a classic, classy, coordinated wardrobe and should be very distracting!

What bag would that be? [emoji56][emoji48]
Another Gucci Stirrup bag. I am crazy about my burgundy one and would happily take one in almost every material. (I really want the caramel one!!) But this is sooooo not a need. :-s And I'm trying to tell myself how many nice clothes I could get for that amount of money.

Anyway, I should be distracted soon. I'm at the airport in a tunnel-ish spot waiting on my relatives. As a result today is super casual. I have my beloved hot pink lamb Miss Dior, casual white crochet dress and silver sandals. I'd wait to get a better action shot of my bag but I'm sure my family will keep me busy today. :lol:IMG_6250.jpg

This bag is pretty. Oh, the Gucci stirrup bag has been on Pinterest wish list a long time. I have to look at it now, it might be the color you have....but I would take it in about any color!

Great minds think alike! That's what I plan on doing!

Well...emphasis on "plan". Really I should say plan to plan. LOL! I have these vague thoughts in my head and need to get a battle plan for what I need to buy.

But the colors I'm looking at are ones that will coordinate with my bags.

But the first things I think I need to get are dresses. So maybe I'll focus on that for a while. :oh:
