Awww! Do I see a bit of baby bump?
Haha yes! Starting to show now that I'm a little over halfway through the pregnancy
Here is my naughty girl. Dh left the closet open and I then showed him what could happen and explained what we would have to replace.lol She was good though just checking out the empty space from some bags I sold. Her name is Olivia after law and order svu.
What a beauty! Olivia is a great name :)

Gorgeous!
Wow! Congratulations!!!!! I was thinking of you the other day wondering about you and your new house! Double congrats on the baby! You're going to be one sexy mama. [emoji16] I'm not big on brandname diaper bag. I use my local quilted fabric bag that is waterproof, very soft, and can be washed for the baby stuff. And I use a WOC for my personal items. [emoji4]
Try Cath Kidston. [emoji6]

I'm sure the baby will appreciate cute things. [emoji16] and I won't hold you against it. Go go check them out! They have baby clothes, too! [emoji16]
Thanks vink! And omg baby clothes haha those can be my downfall when it comes to shopping
My multicolored bags:
• Chanel iridescent caviar beige and black tote w/ghw
• Celine Edge in python and black leather w/shwView attachment 3705443 View attachment 3705444I love multicolored colored bags and would like a few more. But I've been focused on getting my core collection complete first.

My Chanel tote is the absolute best buy of my entire collection for two reasons. First, I got it for only $530 on eBay in phenomenal condition. (It was poorly listed and photographed.) I was so scared it was a fake that I sent it in to be authenticated v. just sending in pictures. Second it showed me I can love totes. I didn't think that was possible. But this tote showed me it is and raised the bar. My tbd black tote has to be perfect.
WOW that Chanel tote is stunning and what a fab find!! I remember your Celine and it is beautiful as well. You have a lovely collection :)

Oh what a classic beauty. Happy to hear you are loving it!

It's the worst! [emoji16] You have to remember that those clothes will work on them only for 6 months. Babies grow up fast. I just decide to go with a lot. Go out and have a spree then lock it down for 5 months, then go out for spree again. Otherwise, I may keep buying until her space is so overflowed. [emoji28]

Hi All! DD's graduation weekend! :smartass: I've been carrying my gold Chanel Boy as my "daily bag" on this trip. Also wore it to grad ceremony #1 last night. I love it. Gold is a great neutral and this bag transitions so well from casual to neutral!!!

But I switched to my hot pink Miss Dior for grad ceremony #2. It just finished and I'm in my rental car with the AC blasting waiting for DD to finish hugging all her new fellow alums!!

I love this bag. I haven't worn it or her blue sister much because of the yucky weather. I forgot how much I adore these bags. So cute and so roomy!!!

Ostrich - fine with rain, absolutely no good with any kind of grease/cream. Keep away from direct sunlight (in fact don't leave out). New it looks quite matte but through the years it'll pick-up a sheen. Brilliant material for everyday wear (if you're not a reg hand-cream user).
Watersnake, karung, ayers, and eel - fine in a little rain but not purposely. Dry natrually. Eel is a very durable material but delicate to work with to sew.
Crocodile (any sort) and alligator (H-shiny or matte) and most lizard - absolutely no good in the rain. Take a raincoat. Hermes shiny will go a little matte naturally (between spas) matte will acquire a sheen. Keep all away from grease. Vintage turtle (new is illegal) similar to the above.
Glazed croc or alli - these are the exceptions to the rule because they are basically patent, they should be OK with a few drops of rain but wipe down ASAP (dry naturally). Many Caiman are glazed. Do not leave in damp conditions, always leave out of dust bag to let air circulate.
Python and cobra - not too bad with rain but leave to dry naturally (stay away from if the thought of a few scales lifting brings on panic). Keep away from direct sunlight, air-con and near central heating appliances.
Suede - Not exactly a unique skin but people seem fearful. Spray before use (approx. first 3 times) usually easy to maintain. Depending on piece, can transfer dye wet (or even dry) more easily than leather so should be waterproofed. Brush to clean, like ostrich again stay right away from grease and creams. Usually suede is very serviceable.
Antelope suede - see 'suede' though an even softer brush is needed (a facial brush would be OK). Usually a spare piece of same-colour suede is supplied to rub (do not use any other colour).
Porc/Boar - Like ostrich, fine in rain keep far away from grease and creams.

Anyone want advice on different fur bags let me know, different fur behaves differently.
Absolute legend - thanks for this great advice.

Congrats and hope you both have great and memorable time!
LOOOVE this pink!!
Thanks for the congrats and the compliment on the pink! Pink is my favorite color and I have two pink bags. This is kind of a watermelon pink and the other is salmon pink. I'm still looking for my perfect true pink bag.
I love this bag and color. Hope you're having a fun graduation weekend!
Thanks for the compliment on my bag. She's one of my absolute. favorites. And, we had a blast at DD's events.
Congrats!! I love this Miss Dior of yours, and the blue one.
Thank you! I know we are both Dior fans! I'm still waiting on my perfect Lady Dior.
Congrats on the graduation! My son had his yesterday.
Congratulations and great job, dc! We did it! :ghi5:
Enjoy your exciting weekend! Your Miss Dior is stunning!
Thanks, I'm back in my - not for long :annoyed: - city / home and exhausted! But it was a really good time. :amuse:
And thanks for the compliment on my bag!

My only multi-colored bag (orange, cobalt, black) and it also happens to be the mini-bag I'm carrying this weekend. It's a Jason Wu Daphne mini bag, no longer made. I bought it 4 years ago when I was just becoming smitten with bags and didn't know anything about designers, or prices, or leathers, or... well... anything, really! When I first saw it on line I fell in love with the "barbell" hardware at the closure, which I still love!
I don't carry this bag often, because it only holds my phone, a tiny wallet, keys, tissues, and a lipstick, but sometimes it's just right, so I don't plan to sell it.

It seems i have overlooked your post, but i hope you're having fab anny and wishing many more to come! @ElainePG :flowers:
Ok. So it's not just me?? I keep missing posts and having to go back to find them when someone comments or I see a notification that someone quoted me. I enter TPF via the browser on my iPhone. I don't use / like the app. I wonder if that's the issue.
Thank you for all the love for my Bracher Emden bag, it kind of surprised me because it's old but not yet vintage. I guess there's must be a '00s maximalist revival going on :graucho:

The bag combines pretty much everything, python, ostrich leg, metallic leather, quilting, lacing, brass tassels and Swarovski crystals (and is multicolour for this week too). The workmanship is very good, not in the same league as Gucci or H but painstaking plus solid and strong and every bag was completely handmade. I met Richard Emden at London Fashion Week a few years ago and asked him about his bags (he was doing a line without Bracher at the time).

I usually use it as a clutch but it has a shoulder strap too. Inside it's one large This is the only BE I have (it was a birthday pressie from my mum though we chose it together). Let me tell you this is minimalist example by their standards, many were dripping with detail and some of the larger bags were kinda too crazy (even for me) but this one is perfect for pizzaz for spicing up an outfit.
I kind of think it's better when a bag is unabashedly maximalist be tip toeing into it. If done well the "clash" of so much going on make a stunning piece of eye candy. But it something is leather and simply bedazzled everywhere without a plan or purpose it can easily fall tacky.
I really like this unique piece.
These are both chic and fabulous!
Thanks! As you know I have a love / hate relationship with the Celine. LOL! She is a bag that has to be worn to be appreciated.
Here she is, my new-to-me black work horse, so far so good, easy and nice in use
OMG! I LOVE THIS! Congrats!!!!! Can you show a few more pics that have clearer view of the detail?
Sparkle and DC - congrats on your children's graduation!! You must be proud mommas!!

Sparkle, enjoy your upcoming trip! I'm sure you will bring home a new bag. How exciting!!
Thank you for the well wishes on both. I don't know if I will find a bag on this trip because I'm focused on getting clothes but maybe I will find a perfect add. I have a few bags stuck in my brain that I really want so maybe one will turn up!
Pretty bags Sparkle! I especially love the Chanel tote!
Thank you!

Thank you! I would love to find this kind of deal every day. My closet would overflow. LOL!
Old pic of my bi color lady dior mini in pink and red
View attachment 3705648

Just realized, pink and red bicolor anything is my weakness. I have this LD in pink/red, espadrilles in pink/red and also a pink/red dress
I've always loved your mini LD and love pink and red together!! I've been obsessed with finding the perfect pink and red scarf since @papertiger posted a photo of hers. And I'd love the combo in a bag or dress, too!!!
Congrats on your daughters grad, u must be so proud [emoji4]

Love your Miss Dior, i always kick myself that i missed out on getting one.

Thank you!!! And I forget how much more functional the Miss Diors are than my Chanel flaps. It wouldn't seem to be much of a difference but they hold so much more and it's easier to access the inside.
(I have to admit. After wearing this one again, I put this back on my saved searches on eBay and Vestiaire. LOL!)
I'm sorry these are in 3 separate pictures!
