Well, you're saving for a house deposit is that right? I think if I were in your place I'd prioritise that. Getting your own place, especially your first, is such a thrill

I am trying to. But I still would like some things, especially if DBF is able to get some new things too.
Granted, his aren't as expensive as mine most of the time.

If your hesitating I would cancel the order. I had a azur zippy and the zipper cloth was white which made me to terrified to even use. That and the corner in the bend would turn dark because of the pull an it wasn't used.
I'll cancel it this weekend when I'm there for an event.

She's a beauty, egg! Weather's getting better so you can bring her out more often soon!

Pretty pic with the flowers. I like the color and satchels are my favorite.

Such a sweet story you have here. [emoji4] Those time must be golden. [emoji4]

she is a Beauty!
and that's exactly that time when 'less is more', classic clean lines let the fabulous rich leather stand out and show all its glorious beauty!

I can see why you love this bag so much, she's so beautiful and will never ever date. This is such a lovely colour for summer days too, so I think you should use her a bit more ;)

ksuromax, you are so great at accessorizing and posting your looks to share with us! It really makes this thread and others so fun. I do not think that you need really need to downsize, unless of course you want to.

Lately I have not been changing bags as much. I have been participating in the color project, as at least I am taking them out of my closet and photographing them. I am not going to stress about this though. Sometimes I rotate more than at other times. I plan to keep my collection at or under 20.

Great bag and back story, eggtart! This is a really classic and chic looking bag; looking forward to seeing your clutch. I am a fan of clutches.

Great story for a lovely bag!

Lovely storytelling!

Thanks, everyone! I really should use her more again. I'll try to! I also realized this weekend as I was making an effort to use more of my unused bags, is that I don't change them as often as I like because they're not that accessible. All my bags are in their dustbags and stuffed, and my premier bags are up on the top shelf of my closet. I think I'd use them more if it was quicker for me to change into since I don't have that much time to swap. Any of you have this problem? I need to rearrange my closet a bit better.

Lovely pink
I'm carrying victoria for the last few days (still the whitest thing I own ) I'm off to the library later and she's great for holding lots of stuff. When I don't have much to carry she slips nicely onto my shoulder.

I looooove this bag
I rearranged my closet to fit my bags in a line on the top shelf of my closet. I want to nest them into the large totes, but out of sight out of mind. :/
But there are times where I have accessibility to switch and change them out, I just don't.

I found a perfect black leather workbag. Only issue is that there's two version available in a) full corrected grain b) semi-nubuck + corrected grain. Please help me decide. :p

My points:
15_numub.png

a) full corrected grain
+ low maintenance
+ should last 5 years+
- boring

b) nubuck flap + corrected grain
+ never had a nubuck bag but I've nubuck shoes and a thick suede bag which are pretty low maintenance
+ nubuck looks and feels luxurious
- nubuck loves lint (especially in black and I'm not fond of giving others a messy impression at work)
- lasts probably max. 3 years because nubuck part will be rubbing against my body -> wears off pretty quickly -> can't use a semi-worn out bag at work
-/+ I don't encounter rainy days often but snowy winter weather would be an issue

Price is same for both versions.

My heart says go for b) but my brains order me to buy a). :confused1:
I can't have both versions. I still need to downsize my wardrobe.
Ooh. I first knew of this bag when somebody posted hers in the comments section in one of the posts on Purse Blog. Hers was the camel version. Very lovely bag indeed but I thought it was a bit big due to the shape. Couldn't figure out whether the flap is a magnetic closure or it just fits behind the leather tab in front. XD;; To me, both blacks are good (all leather version is obviously easier to take care than the leather+suede), but I probably won't choose black if I'm buying it. (don't mind me, because black is not my top favourite when it comes to bags)

Here's my contribution for grey bags week:

I have the exact pearl grey for the Minerva. Used it once, thought it was too heavy and too wide in length, so I gave it to my mother. She said it was heavy too. So the bag was just kept somewhere in the house.

It's about 10 for me, although I know a lot of tpfers wouldn't think that was anywhere near enough  it's going to be different for everyone I think
I think 10 is a good number as well. It means I can get to use each of those bags more often, but if you really want more variety, I guess between 10 to 15 is good.

Soooo...I'm back home and quite bag disgruntled.

1) I used my black YSL Small Monogram Cabas as my main bag for the travel I did Th - Sun. It was fully loaded several times. And this is what happened. :cursing:
View attachment 3670493 View attachment 3670494
BOTH of the handles came apart. The pins holding on the bar that keeps the handles attached "worked" their way out somehow. I am furious!!! I am careful with my bags and have NEVER had this kind of issue. Not with the cheapest bags or the most delicate. This is supposed to be my black "workhorse". I should be able to carry it fully loaded with no issues.

I bought it from Fashionphile 6 months ago so I can't take it to a boutique. So I'm going to try to find a cobbler to fix it. But with black hardware I'm concerned.

2) My sorority colors are salmon pink and apple green and I like to wear pink. So I wanted an apple green bag to wear to sorority functions now and again. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on what would be a "specialty" bag in my closet so I found an apple green suede Chanel bag at an insanely low sale price because it needs a little cleaning. Nothing major. It's just "grungy."
View attachment 3670546
Well I contacted Leather Surgeons and they said they can't clean suede. Huh??? That shocks me. I'm going to contact a couple of other places and see what they say. If I can't find an option I'll return the bag (I have 30 days). But I'm disappointed. :hrmm: Finding an apple green bag that's pretty and at a low price is not an easy task. LOL!!!
Oh no. I probably would be too speechless to do anything about the bag, and just chucked it aside in a fit of anger. Hope you can manage to find a fix for the bag.

Thank you :flowers: I keep my bags downstairs so I can see them and swop over quickly before I head out. I only keep this white bag in its dust bag, all the others are out. It helps I think.

I love your bag. In regards to the closet I used to have problems using my stuff. I ended up buying cubes that I put on my shelves. It gave me space in the cubes and more on top. I also bought a little collapsible stool so I can easily reach any bag. Then instead of dividing them by brand I switched to bags by color. When it was by brands I never knew what was in the dust cover.

This is a great tip, it makes max use of the space

I love this bag, @Pessie! I remember when you first revealed it. Glad to hear you're getting along well with it.

I tried a red Victoria on at my local store last week. The SA raved about hers, which she bought recently. Said that it made a wonderful travel bag, and she still felt stylish. I really like the longer handles and being able to wear the bag on my shoulder. My LV Doras have the shorter handles and detachable thinner long strap, which doesn't look as nice (and is just one more thing to deal with) as the straight up longer handles on the Victoria. Love, love this bag.

I've read how some ladies do this for storage. I don't know how they manage to keep track of which bags are in what totes. Sounds like more work to store them this way because I would have to write that information down somewhere.

I remember you mentioning this last time, and I really like how this looks! I kinda want this so my hats have a safer spot to sit on instead of precariously perched on top of a bag.

That's just more effort. lol. Sometimes I forget my Neverfull is stored inside my travel Bally. Imagine if all of them were nested within eachother?!

When I get a downstairs, this is a great idea! I live in a condo right now haha.

I remember this! This is a great idea, but I think long and short of it, I don't have enough space, hence the purging.. so when I get down to a good amount, this is a very likely solution.

@bakeacookie - I store my nylon bags in my large Bleeker, so that helps with space. Also, since nylon is slippery, it helps to keep everything in its place without it sliding off of things.

my Longchamps have a hanger thing. Someone recommended it on the Longchamp subforum, so I at least see my hoard of LC nylons haha

If I didn't do that, I'd have them stuffed into my Neverfull stuffed into my Bally....

Oh, I could put my travel duffle in the Neverfull, wherever it is. (j/k it's in my suitcase)

I really like this bag. Someone else posted about it. It is so cute on - the status photos don't do it justice. I vote the full leather. I think it looks a teeny bit more elegant. But either are gorgeous.
Here is the bag that I've been wearing for the last 3 days. AMQ small Padlock.

I've always liked the AMQ padlock. It seems like a great workhorse bag
