I have definitely been more of a "lurker and liker" recently, but I really enjoy reading everyone's posts and seeing everyone's bags!

I am determined to at least post my bags by color.

Rogue Red.

I know that the red week is over, but I just received this one yesterday as a belated birthday gift. It's from a friend whom I don't get to see nearly enough. She knows that one of my first loves was MJ.

She also must have known that I was getting a bag itch. Thankfully this bag will scratch that itch for now. I immediately moved into it and carried it today.

I think it is going to be a great carefree and travel bag.

The Oranges. [emoji521][emoji521]

My photo op was tricky today. It is very windy! My bags kept blowing over, and I kept checking them to be sure they hadn't gotten any scratches! [emoji6]

Mimmy, lovely bags and lovely photos!! I bought myself a MbMJ nylon preppy Natasha for travel too. I think yours will be a great travel bag.

Happy belated birthday mimmy!
OK here's action shots of my tote that can be a bucket! View attachment 3634957

Isn't that cool? It looks like a slightly e/w bucket that way but I'm not really a bucket person so I'm going to use it all wide open and just snapped close because that is how I roll. My organizer fits so perfectly in there and I have transitioned so utterly into using my organizer that if I use a bag that it doesn't fit in I'm totally irritated at my nylon pouches sliding around and not being able to see every single thing at a glance in their appropriate slot. It's a time saver that's for sure, and I'm hooked. So the lack of lining in this bag doesn't bother me since I don't really interact with linings anymore when I'm using the organizer/shaper.
I really love this tote!! Beautiful and overall seems value for money!
And can I just say that I'm really surprised that no one else in this group wanted to give a "boo!" To their period! I guess I'm the only one who doesn't enjoy the symptoms of her cycle ! ;) ha ha ha
Haha, I'm over your age category so I didn't think I was covered. I'm in the next decade. But during that age, well no pregnancies as well, I would get very emotionally sensitive, sometimes with food cravings just like a lady in early pregnancy. But not always. I didn't know the triggers.

Be careful dear! At least your body will still heal fast since you are still young.

So if I get bored with the tote look, then I can cinch and tuck in the handles and use the long strap.

HopelessBagGirl, your action/mod shots are great! This really is a beautifully made bag. Thank you for the belated birthday wishes.[emoji3]

This look awesome as a bucket bag!

Thanks, msd_bags! MJ is not as popular as he once was, but I think that the brand is very well made. I find a lot of his bags to be beautiful and functional.

Beautiful bag! Is this one you had made? The leather looks really good.

Oh, no! I never came close to such perfection in my stitching and never painted an edge in my life! My bags looked homemade if you weren't at least six feet away. This bag is from iadoremybag on etsy. Cathy in Belgium is newly selling her bags online after studying luxury bag making for six years (and still is) and making bags for herself and her friends and family during that time. I think she's already very very good, but I am not a quality expert. I have just inspected every stitch and seen that everything is meticulously straight, even, and symmetrical. The edge paint is so gorgeously done that you hardly notice the edges were painted and not waxed because it blends so nicely. I just love the bag and the price was amazing. The weight is the hidden gem factor, my lightest leather bag.

Spark,

I think you will definitely find a wow bag in France. The unique pieces carried there just pop out at you. For me it was so easy to get the multicolored bag soon as I saw I fell in love.
I think your finally hitting bag contentment. It's the place we all strive to reach. Your collection has reached a happy place. Enjoy this bliss
I'm hoping I'll find something fun. Otherwise, I'll focus on clothing during my trip.

And I am getting very content. I'm going to get the workhorses but those are functional needs for my lifestyle. After that, I'm thinking I can move to just one or two new bags a year to keep things fresh.
Bake,
Glad you experienced snow.... I try to avoid driving while it's snowing heavily if it can be avoided. Other than that we snow people strap up and get out there
Exactly. It's just business at usual.

But I hate it. Which is why I must move somewhere warmer. This cold weather is for the birds.

Well, I have another bordeaux bag in my sights. This is a style I've wanted for a while. I'm a little worried about whether it really is a workhorse (with the leather scratch too easily) but I'd like to have it in my collection. And he branding is discreet but if anyone knows bags, it's very obvious who made it. So I'm not sure.

I'm pausing to think about it....

You'll laugh at me. [emoji28] It's only a 5 km fun-run accompanied with 6-year-old DD. But it's on a hill scene through the open zoo. I worry if we stop too often, I'll just get tired, too. [emoji28]
A run through a zoo with your child sounds like fun. Maybe take some Gatorade or other sports drink to keep your energy up?

Wow, I didn't realize the Longchamp was that big! It's so chic, and it looks really convenient. Your new purchases are really lovely.

Are you planning on visiting Chicago? It's my favorite city, and the guidebook does a really nice job of covering the best things to do and the best places to eat!
.

Thanks! The bag is huge!

I didn't have enough time. I was there for work, but we did drive across the river to get the Illinois Starbucks mug haha.

Thanks for showing the LC next to your DBF's keepall. The LC travel tote looks awesome!

Thanks! It's very pretty!

Happy belated birthday mimmy!

I'm so glad it didn't snow heavily. Would've hated to be trapped in that hotel haha.

So amazed that it's so natural for you all to be okay with such hazardous conditions.

It'll sprinkle in SoCal and there's car accidents lol.

I hate my period. I'm even on meds to make it less crazy for me (I used to pass out and have to miss work), but still hate it. Lol.

And I guess I'm the only one, but I buy clothes for whatever current size I'm on. I had to, because of the medication mentioned above.

So this fatty, and I must be the only one, buys clothes at her fat size. But I at least am comfortable and relatively put together. I'm working to lose weight, but I enjoy the clothes shopping no matter what size I am. It's a bit of a bummer I can't wear rtw off the rack, but I know an amazing tailor who can get stuff to my size. I've gotten a fab set of jackets done this way.

And if it doesn't fit, oh well! The cycle of fashion is quick, even for classic pieces, that I'll eventually find what works for me.

Luckily, the man in my life loves me for whatever size I am and takes me shopping to get the clothes I want. [emoji4]

BV?????

I will pick up a couple items in the size I am now but I don't want to spend on a new coat. I have black ones that look good and a ski jackets that work with all this snow. I will revaluate next fall unless I find an incredible price on one now. I went shopping today and saw lots of spring bags but nothing made me want to buy it. It was a strange feeling. I have to take my step dad out shopping in the next few days and he is very dangerous to shop with. I almost always come home with something.
