Thanks for all the yellow and orange love! Just arrived in Vegas today and the concert is tomorrow, but took some pics pre-concert hehe. View attachment 3634000
Have a great time in Vegas and at the concert!

I hope the rest of this week will bring joy to everyone here in one way or another. Yesterday we had two feet of snow and I am so happy we never lost power. I have been not doing well in the diet department. I am saying this out loud so I have no more excuses. I do not need to buy bigger clothes to go with my bags . I need to drop weight. Now back to the program . What bags have you actually been carrying lately.
Sorry to hear about the snow. On the weekend it was -27C/-17F here and it peaked (briefly) at +15C/59F today - huge snow melt. Go easy on yourself about the diet, you'll get back to it when you're ready. Everyday is another chance to do better than yesterday. As for bags, the last three bags I used are:
- Louis Vuitton Noir Epi Passy GM
- Marc by Marc Jacobs Electric Stage Blue Classic Q Natasha
- Celine Black Medium Classic Box
Sorry, no pics right now until I can troubleshoot my iPhoto storage issues on the computer. I'll have old photos to share in blue bags and black bags weeks.

Popping in to post my orange and yellow bags for this week.

Fantastic orange and yellow - great leathers. Love the intensity of colour on both bags!

Here's a size comparison my Longchamp travel tote with DBF's keepall 45

Thanks for showing the LC next to your DBF's keepall. The LC travel tote looks awesome!

I have definitely been more of a "lurker and liker" recently, but I really enjoy reading everyone's posts and seeing everyone's bags!

I am determined to at least post my bags by color.

Rogue Red.

I know that the red week is over, but I just received this one yesterday as a belated birthday gift. It's from a friend whom I don't get to see nearly enough. She knows that one of my first loves was MJ.

She also must have known that I was getting a bag itch. Thankfully this bag will scratch that itch for now. I immediately moved into it and carried it today.

I think it is going to be a great carefree and travel bag.

My photo op was tricky today. It is very windy! My bags kept blowing over, and I kept checking them to be sure they hadn't gotten any scratches! [emoji6]

What distance is your run? I hope you have some fun although it may be hot. Running in hot weather is pure yuck.

You'll laugh at me. [emoji28] It's only a 5 km fun-run accompanied with 6-year-old DD. But it's on a hill scene through the open zoo. I worry if we stop too often, I'll just get tired, too. [emoji28]

Belated happy birthday! They're beautiful and I'm a big fan of this shade of red. I also like your background a lot. [emoji4]

OK here's action shots of my tote that can be a bucket! IMG_1489643638.225604.jpg

So if I get bored with the tote look, then I can cinch and tuck in the handles and use the long strap.

Isn't that cool? It looks like a slightly e/w bucket that way but I'm not really a bucket person so I'm going to use it all wide open and just snapped close because that is how I roll. My organizer fits so perfectly in there and I have transitioned so utterly into using my organizer that if I use a bag that it doesn't fit in I'm totally irritated at my nylon pouches sliding around and not being able to see every single thing at a glance in their appropriate slot. It's a time saver that's for sure, and I'm hooked. So the lack of lining in this bag doesn't bother me since I don't really interact with linings anymore when I'm using the organizer/shaper.

I was trying to plan which bag to get this summer during my trip to France / Italy and am just not coming up with anything. I'm craving anything right now. Same thing when I've glanced at some of my favorite handbag site - nothing is grabbing me.

I think three things are happening. First, I love my collection and filled my gaps. But I don't know if that alone would keep me from eyeballing the "next" bag.

Second, I'm not excited about anything I'm seeing right now. For example, I hate what Dior is doing with their latest collection. So there isn't any new bag that I've been craving.

This all being said, I think the main cause of my contentment has been my 60+ days of not buying. When I stop buying and hunting, the acquisition mania dies down. Buying seems to breed buying and pausing seems to breed pausing. (Anyone else find that to be the case?)

So, I think I'll wait and see if anything super special catches my eye when I get there.
Spark,

I think you will definitely find a wow bag in France. The unique pieces carried there just pop out at you. For me it was so easy to get the multicolored bag soon as I saw I fell in love.
I think your finally hitting bag contentment. It's the place we all strive to reach. Your collection has reached a happy place. Enjoy this bliss

Thanks for the info. This is along the line of what I am trying. I too am slowly upgrading some of my bags. The last couple of days I have been wearing my very sturdy m0851 bag with it's cross body strap. It weight wise is one of my heaviest bags but the weight distribution makes it super comfy. The cross body strap is wide and very soft .
DC,

What bags are you considering upgrading. You know I love a upgrade project.

It's the Pochette Felicie, a wallet on chain.

I experienced fresh snow falling for the first time in my life. It didn't stick cuz it wasn't cold enough, but it certainly was a new thing for me haha.

Though, I would be absolutely frightened to drive in it. I'm amazed you and others in these snowy areas can still live with so much snow.
Bake,
Glad you experienced snow.... I try to avoid driving while it's snowing heavily if it can be avoided. Other than that we snow people strap up and get out there

Love the colors!!

I almost forgot to say in my review of Cathy's cognac tote is that it only weighs 500g/1lb. Kind of a miracle for a leather bag this size!

Still covered in ice here that melts a bit in the afternoon and then freezes super slick overnight. I fell on my hip today trying to sprinkle gravel on the walk. I seem to fall and bruise once a week this time of year!
