View attachment 3629285 Hi again, I had a heavy week so I'm just getting my red bags up. Here they are from top left: my much loved Tod's double zip tote, my primary fall/winter work bag; the Coccinelle that I carried back from Sicily; a little Coach from 2013; and a perfectly flat Coach that I roll up tight for travel. If, in 2017, I found a red bag that really called to me, I would switch out any except the Tod's. I'm not terribly bonded and one should be bonded with a RED bag, I think ...
I have been checking out tod's quite a bit lately. Yours is very pretty.

Wow, so much discussion going on. I can't participate more actively but what I shall do is to post my red bags before red color week is over. :sweatdrop:

I bought more than these 3, but one is too mini and I no longer use it. Another has been given to my mother (an oxblood bucket bag).

MZW small Sutton in papaya, Mulberry SBS in oxblood and Chloe Marcie in tulip red (a bit difficult to capture the actual color)

Very nice array, love the shade of Coccinelle, very deep and beautiful red!!!

Cheapies will work for my test purposes. It would be similar to if I tried a certain style of cheaper bag before buying premium. I'd know that I'm not getting the same finishing, leather etc. but it would give me a good idea if I liked that style at all. So, I just need to see if I like the styling on me, my bag, etc. No way I'm buying a "real" one now as I think there is a strong chance the answer will be no and I don't want to have to resale.

And my family & friends are lovely but adamantly unfashionable folk. They all think I'm a bit "tetched" in the head for my passion for pretty things. For example, I was just on the phone last night with one of my very closest friends. She owns one ratty purse that needs to be shot and put out of its misery. She said she wants me to help her buy one new "good" one. I was floored. She can afford to buy whatever she wants. But fashion is sooooo not a priority.
:D LOL

I want a keepall, but I'm afraid of overpacking it and it'll be too heavy to carry.

How much can you really fit in the 45?

DBF keeps his work stuff in his when he travels so it's not a good gauge of usefulness.
I got the Keepall 45 precisely to avoid overpacking and a resultant heavy bag. The 45 is ideal for overnight and weekend (at the most) trips. I can fit up to three changes of clothing, pajamas, a pair of slippers, a pair of shoes, my toiletry kit, cosmetic bag, and a few small items like my Kindle.

The 45 is a good carry-on bag for air/train/bus travel.

Wore 1 of my recently acquired scarves today. I really have to study how to style them. And for today, it coordinates with my bag.

It looks great with your bag, and I like the way you tied it. You really don't need to be fancy with such a pop-of-color scarf... just a simple bias fold, as you did, and then a little loop is perfect.

this is my combo of the day
OS Alexa by Mulberry plus BV flats and scarf and Bal Giant studs bracelet
haven't worn this beauty for a good while, almost forgot how great she looks and wears.... very appropriate for the Spring mood :flowers:
one small side note: for me "shopping my closet" has become a good lesson of coordination of my accessories, and i am at the moment a bit more focused on filling up the gaps in this part of my closet rather than bags, a small new accessory can bring fresh breath to an old bag or spice up a boring, plain outfit and by spending a little on the accessory i am saving big on NOT getting another "better matching" bag....
and i am looking at you, Misses Enablers-2017 @papertiger @ElainePG and @msd_bags it's all your fault!! my first H scarf is on its way to me....
Great outfit, dear!
Now... which H scarf did you get? Inquiring minds want to know! :amuse:

It's a Bride de Cour with fire red trim and combo of purple and lime in the main print, all my colours and a very bright colourful scarf overall, trying to identify the year, but alas, yet without success...
it's from consignment and is in pristine/no signs of use condition and comes with the box

I'm home, finally!!!! I'll take photo of my reds tomorrow! Yay!

But.... bad news...

A) I can't find one of my reds. I searched through the condo last night and couldn't find it. Apparently, I can't find it here, too. I'm out of idea where I put it. Well, I rarely use it and was thinking about selling it anyway. I think this is a strong sign if I ever find it again, maybe I should just send it off to the consignment.

B) I can't find the red photo from last year. [emoji28] I though I put it on file, but it seems i didn't. @spark, can I have the page number from last year thread again? Or if you already threw that out, it's fine, too. My red hasn't changed, I think. [emoji28]

And what's for next week? Orange and yellow? Yeah... I'm asking this coz I won't be home again until end of the month, I think. [emoji29][emoji29][emoji29]
OMG! Which one is missing? I'm glad it's not one of your favorites.
I was missing 3 bags with my last move (2 of my favorites) and almost lost my mind til I found them in a box I still have in storage. I hope you find yours!

Red week last year started sometime before Feb 22. My post is 3645 in last year's thread so you can do a search for posts you did around that time with red in the search term and hopefully find it.

Yes! I think we should bond with ALL our bags but I'm a bagaholic. LOL! What kind of red bag would be your ideal? Satchel, tote, patent, lamb, big small...?

I'm always drawn to red bags. It's amazing I don't have a ton of them.

I hate it when I misplace something. ATM I have no idea where I've hidden a Cartier ring from myself and it's driving me nuts.

Yes orange and yellow

Now I'm wondering if I should get one. I have other travel bags, but a keepall always grabs my attention.

The Prada mini with the white flowers on it. I wore it once after the shoot in an attempt to make it work. It's just too flat. (Not exactly flat, but not deep enough? Like 1", I think?) From the size, you think it should be able to carry more than the 8" mini, but no. The 8" mini can actually hold more. I like this collection so I've been keeping it, but I just never use it. And now I don't know where I keep it coz I know in my attempt to use it, I put it here and there.

Thanks for the lead. [emoji4] I'll go check it. [emoji4]

I know! That's why I usually assign a place to keep my bags, but this one get moved a lot coz I try to find the opportunity to use it. Between my house and the condo, I know it's there somewhere, just don't know where.

I hope you find your ring! I'm sure I'd be out of my mind if it's were jewelry. [emoji37]

I'm chuckling and SMH over here because I, too, have hidden some jewelry from myself, a pair of rose gold studs. I distinctly recall telling myself when I bought them that I must not misplace these earrings because rose gold is my favorite metal at the moment. Aargh.
