Happy birthday Elaine!
We are phone twins now that I finally got my phone upgrade and now I'm just waiting for a couple days for my LifeProof frē waterproof shockproof case to get here so I can relax about my phone. It is SO SLIPPERY!!!
Oh, I'm so glad your phone finally arrived. Yes, I have one of those cases for the back of my phone too. I never used one before, but with the all-glass case I really thought I should protect it from slipping out of my hand, especially in old weather. Enjoy the new phone... you are going to LOVE the camera!

So I'm giving the hairy eyeball to @HopelessBagGirl who prophesied that my trusty 6s wouldn't last. All of a sudden it's painfully slow. Even though I refused to update to the latest software. :annoyed:

I am NOT buying a new phone (or anything else) after buying a house, 11 bags and a car this year. At some point ya gotta say NO! I'm getting out tin cans and string.

I was reading an article about slow-downs in older iPhones, spark, and it sounds as though the problem is maybe the battery. Replacing the battery properly, at the Apple store, costs about $50 - $70. Buying an entirely new phones costs... well... you know the numbers.
So it might be worth a phone call to check and see if a battery replacement would fix the problem.

I had my iPhone 6's battery changed middle of this year after 22 months with me. Here it cost me about $100 including diagnostic fee at an Apple authorized service center.

That's worth a try. I just don't want to spend $1000 on a phone. :whut:

That clutch sounds adorable, do you have a picture of it?

And yes, it would be totally sensible! One of the things I think about though, is if you have that $34 clutch in your closet along with, say, a Chanel, and you choose to wear the clutch over the Chanel, does that make you feel guilty about not wearing the more expensive bag? I struggle with this sometimes because given how much money these bags cost, I want to make sure I’m getting good use out of them and using them is a sign to me that they were worth the money. Totally first world problems, I know! :panic:
Sorry this took FOREVER!!! Here they are!!!:nuts::nuts:IMG_20171225_220706.jpg

I'm carrying a very sparkly Marc Jacobs red sequined bag that I got via TheRealReal in 2015. A tPF friend pointed me towards it; it was a runway bag in S/S13, eye-wateringly expensive, but was listed at something like 95% off on TheRealReal so I simply HAD to pop for it! It's called the Tweed Girls Mae, and it's a red, cream, and black sequined plaid that is perfect to wear this month.
The outside is fabric. Inside, it's fully lined in leather. The strap can be worn either doubled as a short shoulder strap, or long as a cross-body. Actually, it is one of my favorites, but I only wear it in December and on Valentine's day, because of the "sparkle" factor. :giggle:
I haven't had a chance to photograph it, but here's the image from the web site:
