Update on my dog search:
Mom wants a Labrador, but Labradors are big. lol.
I want a dog that can travel with me in a little carrier.

The dog is ultimately my choice, but I want everyone to like the dog. So 100% support on the choice is necessary from my family and DBF.

Do you ever get anything that everyone was NOT 100% supportive on?

DBF has been reluctantly supportive of some of my purchases (like my fantastic Balenciaga brooch, my luggage tag obsession, the Kate Spade kite he ended up getting me, and the Bally tote), and has talked me out of bags I used to like (like the Celine bags).

But obviously, there are lots of purchases I just buy because I like them.
I had this dilemma with my dh . He wanted another lab and I wanted a smaller dog . Now we have one of each .lol

I also don’t want to be held to a certain number of bags. Especially when the “archival” bags are counted — I may not wear them anymore, but they have emotional value to me and almost zero resale value. I have the space for them, so why pressure myself to sell or donate them just to get to an arbitrary number?

That said, my focus since joining this thread has become to really hone in on what works for me. To not make impulse purchases that I will end up regretting, or “almost” purchases out of frustration of not finding exactly the right thing.
This is where I've landed after a couple of years of me being crazy over an arbitrary number I set. No more of that.
