No but Black Friday sales are hitting my inbox, even local companies. It’s so weird. There didn’t even exist Halloween when I first moved abroad. Or peanut butter. So much american pop culture has bled over here in these last ten years in particular.

I’m surprised how many other countries have adopted Black Friday.

But with the uptick in sales on this day, it had to show some success abroad if they keep doing it.

One of the bloggers I’m still following kept talking more about Black Friday than more Americans I follow.

But I think most countries also don’t have as many sales as we do? Perhaps that’s why it’s caught on so quick.

I think there’s been such a globalization going on, which will be quite interesting to watch as time goes on.

I’ve read a comment about brands that have increased their prices to be near Premiere brands (Coach).

Have you noticed any brands that haven’t sacrificed quality or haven’t increased their prices?

I haven’t looked at them lately, but Dooney seems to have stayed the same.

It’s seems every brand has taken the route of higher production with higher prices nowadays that it’s almost rare to find a well made, reasonably priced brand out there that isn’t independent/etsy.

Oh and @bakeacookie I meant to tell you I think I’ve settled on an idea for a case. I want a waterproof one that I can take underwater videos of my kids with! I’m just not sure which case is waterproof for an iphone X. Maybe lifeproof.

I don’t think there are many mass produced bags with any brand recognition that haven’t suffered the way you describe.

I haven’t heard of any other water proof ones beyond lifeproof. Underwater photos would be cool!

I ended up with a clear otterbox. I wanted to decorate the back lol

I'm DYING for the original rogue 25!!! It's just that all the others keep going on sale!!! :nuts: I have no goals yet but am formulating them... and am trying to avoid redundance. Not that I have ANYTHING like it (besides a pink one!!!)

Yes, that's an AMAZING system!!! I wish I could do something like that, but coordinate specific clothing with what I'm doing that day, so not sure how I could adapt something like that. Plus, I use those drop-down closet drawers, so it's not as clear with the left-right thing...:confused1: And what exactly does Stylebook do? I just can't wrap my head around it.

Stylebook is a digital closet. Because for someone like me with a smaller space, I can’t have everything out in view. It’s also handy when I shop to prevent duplicates.

If you’ve been wanting the original rogue, forget the sale ones and get that! It’s pretty!
