FedEx delivered my Bottega Veneta bag from the sale today, but DH answered the door, signed for it, and told me I have to wait until Christmas. He’s brutal and keeping me honest. So, I cannot post a pic like I said I would. :( Sorry, ladies!

@catsinthebag, I hope your knee problem gets resolved soon. And, good luck on your luxe tote search.

I wish my pocket friends in the U.S. a happy Thanksgiving! I won’t be able to read and post much because we have houseguests this week. I know that I will probably miss a lot.

If I end up selling, youre first to know!

The Chinese zodiac is stamped on the back
Mine has patinaed I’ll have to take a proper picture.

I think I saw some one sell vachetta leather card cases. Mcraftleather on etsy I think? Someone who made vachetta leather tassels had card cases at one time.

Thanks for keeping me in your mind and tips! I'll Mcraftleather's selection them out

Where's the Zodiac? Unfortunately, I can't find it from your pic. Please give me some hints :D

Your DH was fast! We will all be anticipating your reveal, waiting for Christmas along with you.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! (if you celebrate it!)

This comment made me curious. I'm carrying less than I did. What kinds of things have you added. Am I missing something that would make my life easier???

I know this question wasn’t directed to me, but one of the big changes for me was moving from the suburbs to a city a decade or so ago. I use public transportation more now, so things I used to leave in the car, like an umbrella or water bottle, now go in my bag. Also, my town and the town next door have implemented a plastic bag ban, meaning that if you buy anything at all and need a bag, you pay an extra 10 cents. It’s not a huge amount, but I try to always carry a reusable shopping bag with me. It’s a small thing but can take up a lot of room!

Another thing: when I’m out with DH, I am almost always asked to carry a pair of his reading glasses. When he asks me why I don’t wear the Chanels he loves so much, I tell him that part of the reason is they won’t fit his stuff! :annoyed:

That makes sense. I've never lived in a city with decent public transportation. So I always travel via car.

I tend to carry a lot during the work day but that's handled in my laptop bag. Non work I don't carry much - wallet or card case, iPhone, small makeup bag, keys, and sunglasses.

If I have more space in the bag I add one or more of the following: a small medicine case, lotion, pen, tissues, mints/ gum, fan or extra iPhone battery. I almost never carry all these things.

I keep reusable bags in my car.
