Thanks!
Coach provided 6 or 7 templates for the tea rose arrangements. I can understand they don't want you to randomly select the location of flowers and conform to the design (thank goodness). I'm glad they had the choices (there are plenty to choose from). The roses are hand placed in front of you. It's so fun to watch.

As a obsessed tea rose fan, I selected the max number, 7 roses, the template I like most (Each rose is $15 CDN), and the rose colours (they had available chalk, beach wood, black and pink). All really nice.

Wow! That is gorgeous!!! Love that you can still see the burnished saddle (which I love), but the flowers add such a beautiful touch. Love the arrangement and colors you chose!

Thank you.
I have to give some credit to the store manager, she helped me with the selection.

I highly recommend it if there's a store in your area :hbeat:

I looked at the 1941 Whiplash Saddle Bag in Camel today. Absolutely LOVE the color AND the pebbled leather. Not crazy about the fringe - although it is kind of cute. I see a number of people have defringed their handbags. Still love them? Use them? Sometimes i wish I were a designer. I find a number of handbags are in colors I like but in a large or small size and not regular. I wish they would have had pebbled without fringe but maybe I need to step outside my boring, simple style!

I have the same saddle bag but in the oxblood color. I semi-defringed it, shorten some fringes just enough to not cover the whiplash detail. I still use it quite a bit as it's so soft and slouchy. Which size did you look at? There were some made in the 23 size and some in the larger size. I have the larger size.

Thanks for your reply! The one that is not a 23, next size up. Really like it but not 100% sure on the fringe. I have a butterscotch Rogue on the way and if that's not love thinking of the saddle bag.

I bought the camel one last summer and have used it a lot. I love how soft and smooshy it is and I really love that camel color. I feel like the color suits this style well. I didn't defringe it because I was nervous I would mess it up and after wearing it and getting used to it I actually like it. Eventually I might try to defringe it when I get tired of it. I wasn't sure if I would like the flap either and that took a bit to get used to but the leather is so soft and pliable that I have never felt it is cumbersome to open or close. I have been using mine the last few weeks and still love it! Keep us posted what you decide!

I have the bag in oxblood and I partially defringed it. I hated the pieces that were in the 'corners' of the bag, they stuck out like cat whiskers. Once I removed all 4 of those I was happy with the way the bag looked. And as Hasbro4 said, the soft pebbled leather flap opens easy.

I like the way yours looks. Is there an empty hole where you took off the fringe or did you somehow put a small piece of leather in the hole? That is the part that has prevented me from defringing. I wasn't sure how noticeable it would be. If I were to remove fringe, I would want to remove what you took off too. I think the defringed bags shown here have all looked really great. But for now, it doesn't bother me - I think the fringe has relaxed over time.
