Saddle bag owners, does anyone know why some leather lined saddle 23's have the 2 hangtags and some have only the 1 nicer hangtag with the metal embossed carriage?

I've finally decoded the difference between the 1941 line, the Patricia's MFF, and those made for Dillard, Macy's, etc, but now am confused about the hangtags.

My saddlebag has the two hangtags. One says Coach and the other tag has the name of the color. I got this bag very early when it was first released. Coach changes things as they come out with more colors.

Ah that makes sense. I am watching one on ebay that has the 2 and is an older color combo vs the one I just got is a newer version of the bag. Thanks for the enlightenment.

The first generation Coach Saddle bag comes with 2 handtags with one stamped with the Colour of the bag as it is an Introductory release for the 1941 collection. It's to get us familiar with the Colour palette Coach Is going to use for the whole collection.

When they launched the fall collection 2016 if I'm not mistaken, that was when all the handtags featured the metallic horse and carriage instead of the usual stamped ones. This is to show the distinction between a regular Coach New York collection and the exclusive 1941 collection.

I don't have it but did try it out in a store and it doesn't get in the way. That was my concern. It lifts up with the flap. It fits your essentials too. I'm still thinking about getting the Kelly green.
