Here you go. Have been busy this whole week!!!
You can buy it from Nordstrom, and I saw one on eBay)Does anyone know where I can buy the Burgundy 23 online with the red interior? Finally decided to take the plunge.
I just got my saddle bag in burnished bordeaux. It is very nice color with the edge a little darker. The lining inside is in red shade and not the flax color like in the website pictures.
Alright, I swear I've combed through this ENTIRE thread, and saw no mention of the burnished "1941 Saddle" colour: http://www.coach.com/coach-designer...urnished-glovetanned-leather/38199+BPL4A.html
Does anyone know what the interior lining in this one is? The website doesn't show any interior photos!
I am really interested in the Whiplash saddle bag in either Oxblood or Mineral that is on the winter sale. I have seen oxblood in other styles but never have seen the mineral. Would the mineral go with alot of colors? Also in reading past posts about "defringing" is it easy to do? I really don't care for the fringe but really like the rest of the bag.Might be too late a reply but I'm pretty sure it's with a orangey yellow suede interior
No quams here. I defringed all of mine (black, chalk, oxblood and mineral). I really don't think I'd have used them if I weren't able to defringe them. However, I really only ever use the black and chalk ones. I'd like to list the oxblood and mineral on ebay, but since the bags have been altered, I'm not sure they'd get much interest. So, just be sure you'll be keeping and using the bag enough to justify altering it. Let us know what you decide!Has anyone had second thoughts about defringing their whiplash saddle bag? I am on the fence about doing it to my Oxblood saddle bag.
I partially defringed mine and loved it that way. I took off the bottom ones and put in a cut loop to cover the holes. I shorted the top ones so they wouldn't hang so long.No quams here. That is what I think I am going to do. I am going to use it for a few months and see if I still feel the same. I had another bag that had one thing that bugged me about it and I could see it was easy to alter. I was afriad of doing it because it was a limited run of 150 and they were going for 5 times the retail price on eBay. After I used it almost non stop for 2 months I told myself "This is my bag and I am going to make it how I want." Since I altered it I use it more with no problems. No quams here. I partially defringed mine too, like chihua5. I hated the bottom ones that stuck out at all kinds of odd angles. Once they were gone I found all the rest looked great. That is what I think I am going to do. I am going to use it for a few months and see if I still feel the same. Oh, I forgot to include your reply in the last post. I know the whiplash saddle bags are more available than they were several months ago, but I have seen one defringed one sell on eBay and one on Poshmark. The one on eBay auctioned well even without fringe. (Don't remember how much the poshmark one sold for.) Have you tried to put the fringe back on?No quams here. Good to know, thanks. I've never considered listing & honestly never looked at any listings close enough to see if they were defringed. I guess if someone is familiar with the bag, maybe they'll consider it. Any listing I've ever done include very thorough descriptions many photos. I use the mineral least of all. Maybe I'll give it a shot & see. THANKS!Oh, I forgot to include your reply in the last post.
