I vote saddleWhich should I keep. Saddlebag 23 in butterscotch or Dinky 24 in butterscotch?
I want to keep both but not practical. I like the lock and outside pocket on dinky. The strap is pretty but not as comfortable as the saddle. They hold about the same I think
I like what you did with the strap!Hi Wendy, if you are asking this in a saddle bag lovers forum, you will most probably get a saddle bag biased answer. Hahaha
The reason why I love my saddle bag is because of its effortless and minimal style and it's practicality. The dinky on the other hand , is more of a dressy and preppy option, like going for a Sunday brunch with family at the nearby cafe but still wanting to look elegant.
If the strap is an issue, you can easily replace the chain on your dinky 24 to another strap which you can readily find online. I recently went down to try a strap I had on the dinky 24 as I also had a problem with the chain on dinky 24 but it's not so much on how it works on me but more on how it looks on me. [emoji38]
I find the chain still a tad too feminine for me so I thought I would just use a separate strap I had on it and I think it worked out pretty well. View attachment 3662342
I really like the detailing on the whiplash saddle bags from last year. I saw one in red on eBay the other day, and I'm not really interested in purchasing that color, but just wondering because I thought that bag was done in camel, oxblood, mineral and black. I have the oxblood one. Does anyone know if there was a red? Or if possibly that was an Asian market exclusive?

I'm on my phone so I'm using the mobile eBay site and I can't figure out how to post link right now. But if you go to eBay and search 'coach whiplash saddle bag 1941 red', it comes up.I don't recall a red one. Can you post a link to the listing?
Yea I don't think there was a red one. I think it might be a Dakotah whiplash bag which was launched in 2015? It is similar to the saddle bag but the Dakotah was wider and not as rounded as the saddle bag. View attachment 3677289View attachment 3677290
Ok here's a pic of the listing.
Or it could have been exclusive to the international stores which are in airports or the U.K....they both have had exclusives in the past. I believe the champagne / metallic Willis from a few years ago was an airport store / international store exclusive.Hmm I Guess it might be an exclusive to a store? But definitely not in Asia. I'm from Singapore and didn't hear anything about this. Plus the 1941 red from my understanding was first introduced in fall/winter 2016. Whiplash saddle was from spring/summer 2016. So the Colours you mentioned before was from the initial launch of 1941( I got the white one, hehe) and this might be produced exclusively for fall/winter
Cool! Congratulations! My hubby bought me that red whiplash bag (seller had 2). Although authenticated here, I love it so much that I debated keeping it even if not authentic. Not sure where it came from originally but I love. Everything seemed legit about it.
