I agree. I have a couple bags with leather interior, but I'd rather have a full suede interior than leather. I love the contrast from the leather exterior to the suede interior.

The saddle bag and a lot of the other new bags are part of Coach's new Coach 1941 line. The 1941 line is their 'upper echelon' of bags and Coach New York is the midrange line. Saks already has a section named Coach 1941 as well as just a Coach section....Kind of like Marc by Marc Jacobs and Marc Jacobs. And of course the bags we now want are in the 1941 section.

Do you know if the regular (non-exotic) saddle bags will be hitting the department stores as well?

I honestly don't know, but I hope so. The only problem with that, I have a bad feeling that Coach might put a stop to department stores putting the 1941 bags on any kind of sale. :cry:
My coach sales associate told me they would not be anywhere else but coach... We shall see
Saks already has a saddle bag, but it's a hair calf one, not a plain smooth leather one.
I love the suede interior as well. Contrast is great! Yes, luxurious and I'd love it on the inside rather than outside.
Okay, I've been trying to get some information on the pebbled saddlebag without the whipstitching and what I found out isn't good news for those of us interested in that bag. I was interested in pebbled leather, preferrably the dark oxblood.
Okay, the pebble oxblood leather will come in the following 1941 bags:
Whiplash Saddle Bag (38219) - $695
Whiplash Saddle Bag (38280) 23 - $595
Pebble Glovetan Rogue Bag (38124) - $695
Embellished Patchwork Dinky 24 (38498) - 550 (won't be entirely oxblood, but will have pieces)
From what I can see, we aren't producing the Pebble Saddle Bag sans the whiplash fringe.

I wonder if the one without the fringes is coming out in the Fall. The picture says pre-fall. Well, I ordered style 38219 on Saturday, but today I checked my order on Coach.com and it's saying:
