It seems that Coach is doing a year-long roll out of the saddle, so it might be fun to see how the design changes.

I feel like maybe this is more of what I was looking for than the saddle bag... But I have a weird feeling that top handle might look funny?

It's really nice, the only problem I have with my Nomad, the regular size one without the flap, is that when I wear it crossbody the top handle gets in the way. I rarely wear it crossbody because of that, luckily the shoulder strap is very comfortable, but I prefer wearing bags crossbody. I wish I could figure out a workaround.
Has anyone placed an order for the whiplash saddle bag or any of the Spring 2016 purses that will be released on February 9. Initially, it was indicated that my item was backordered and would ship on Feb 8, but that date was removed from my order history and a representative said they can't confirm when it will ship or if it's being released on Feb 9, just for me to follow up on that date.
I placed an order yesterday. The original ship date was February 8 now it's February 14.
Ok, help me ladies because I think I may be losing it! Back when these were first released, my SA called & had a small in the saddle color. I went, picked it up & took it home but returned it because it was too small. I SWEAR that small had an EXTERIOR back pocket/zip section (just like the medium does, I know for sure). The ones in stores now don't have any exterior pocket. And, the small seems bigger because I can easily fit my stuff in it...its driving me nuts wondering if they did a re-style since the original launch or whether my memory is worse than I thought...be honest...I'm losing it aren't I?
Oops, forgot to quote original post I was responding to about the zip pocket in front of saddle bag 23. The number is also different. It is 37535 and the new ones' style number is 37875 I believe.
I'm in with a Beechwood 23. I love both exterior and interior colors, I just wish it had the back exterior pocket!! I'd have ordered the regular size if it had come in Beechwood because I love an external pocket, but not in love with the colors in which it's available - except the fog and...I now have a bag in that color. 
One S.A. at my FP store let me play with her fall release 23 when I went in over the weekend. Hers had the pocket. Sigh. I ordered the 23 not realizing they'd changed the design.
My bag came from the Madison Ave store, and the front below the flap seems duller/darker (it almost looks dirty) than the flap itself. I'm sort of on the fence about keeping the bag right now.
It's an ugly dreary day here. The light is not good enough to take decent pictures, but here's a quick pic. 2nd pic shows no back pocket..boo. ( Pardon the grown out mani. I'm overdue! )

The whiplash saddle bags are on Colette. They are so pretty. Looking at the photos - there is a back zipped pocket. They also have some of the 1941 Collection.
