OMG, I used to be all over the place which led to a lot of buyers remorse!

But, I've spent the past 3-4 years overhauling my collection. I'm finally at the point of knowing the bags I need to support my wardrobe. I have a list of to buy bags described by color and type. For example I've identified that I need a M/L work appropriate grey workhorse satchel and a S/M casual gold shoulder bag. I don't buy a bag just because I see it and like it. Instead I start with the function, size and color I need then I evaluate bags that fit the criteria til I find one I fall in love with. Then I buy.
My general criteria:
• Medium size
• Structured bags - satchels, shoulder bags and cross bodies.
• Only real animal skins (leather, python, etc. and no saffiano unless it's
Prada.)
• No over the top branding.
• And I'm fighting with this last point but just need to give in - I need to only buy premier brands because the styles and quality makes me happy. [emoji2]
Even so, sometimes I get it wrong like with the MK (I'm giving myself a pass on the Knomo because it's only going back because the dimensions listed were incorrect) That's why I'm trying to make 2017 the year I don't return or sell any bags I buy. I want to force myself to be more deliberate.
What'a your approach? [emoji2]
