I guess I was overthinking this bag. It's now with me at the office, I'm so happy! Except for the padding I had to put in to get the shape I want. But this will be solved by the right organizer which I will order after the Christmas rush. This is dark navy. It was night time when I snapped that photo, so maybe that's why it looked a bit too black.This is such a sleek & sophisticated tote! I'm so excited for you!
I think it's normal that when we get a "must have bag" we overthink it the first day. We worry about leather, stitching, scratches on hardware... just any old thing because we desperately want it to be "right". But usually that calms down and we need up adoring our must haves.And I'm sure that's what will happen as soon as you wear her!
I wouldn't worry too much about the handles. I've looked at this tote quite a bit resale and haven't seen any with tearing, ripping or fraying at the handles.
Is marine black or a very dark navy?
I'll keep this in mind!! I never had this feeling with my other bags, I don't know why it was different with this bag. You have made a good point. And definitely no offense taken. Frank remarks keep me grounded and I appreciate them.

Two SLGs out!!! An LC pouch and an LV slg. They're going to DBF, he's actually been using them more than I have in his travels. Haha.

I should take it by heart. Everytime I read about bags that get me nervous, the first bag spring to mind is the lambie Jumbo Minosa with light GHW. It gets on my nerve. I should brave my heart and use it more. It really deserve to see more light outside the closet.

It's from Henri Bendel and they had a whole set of SLGs with this color. It was from summer though, so you might find it secondhand or in their clearances.
