I feel you on the coach stuff this season. The sales are killing me . I could have easily bought five more bags. Instead I keep looking at my photos of my bags to prevent any further spending. I really need to update those pictures.
2016 resolution - shopping from my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

I could not wait for delivery tomorrow (Tuesday), so I picked up my package from DHL early today! I got to take a quick look when I got to the office. It was a mixed feeling then as the leather felt a teeny bit rubbery. And the secretary who saw me was surprised it was a big bag (or probably bigger than what I usually carry?). So I felt a bit of worry. But I really didn't have the opportunity to examine the bag as it was a busy day and I thought to myself that this is a bag I actually liked at the boutique, so there should be no problem.
When I got home, I tried it with several organizers. I don't have one that is a perfect fit, but the Purse Bling one with zipper will do. I might have to custom order a Samorga for it. The organizer needs to be a little bulky so that the bag top won't flare too much. Plus, I'm now able to smell leather, so I'm sold on it!
But given that this is my most expensive shopper tote and one I got brand new, I feel a bit scared and nervous, like, I'm scared to put stuff in there so I won't put too much stress on the handles as the handles are thin. I'm afraid for it to develop creases or dents. But, I already readied it for its maiden voyage tomorrow! So I will brave it. The color is called Marine. My Saint Laurent Paris tote!

This is such a sleek & sophisticated tote! I'm so excited for you!
I think it's normal that when we get a "must have bag" we overthink it the first day. We worry about leather, stitching, scratches on hardware... just any old thing because we desperately want it to be "right". But usually that calms down and we need up adoring our must haves.
And I'm sure that's what will happen as soon as you wear her! I wouldn't worry too much about the handles. I've looked at this tote quite a bit resale and haven't seen any with tearing, ripping or fraying at the handles.
Is marine black or a very dark navy?
Don't ever be afraid to use your bag! If it creases or dents, it's part of the bag!
Everyone, never be afraid to enjoy what you have.
Scratches, creases, dents, smudges, stains, whatever.
These are things. Things meant to be enjoyed!!
Life is unpredictable. Enjoy everything that makes you happy.
What good is a pristine bag sitting on the shelf?
On the flip side, what good is a bag/item/person that makes you unhappy or stressed. Life is too short, let it all the things that weigh you down go.
I had pretty devastating news brought to me not too long ago. It hit home that life is crazy unpredictable and as long as everything is in your means and brings no harm to others, enjoy everything. You don't know what will come up in the future.

I am completely with you in this - I had a similar thought today. How lucky are we to have a collection that we can actually use and not only look at?!?! That is great! We can take a piece everywhere we go [emoji41]

I feel sometimes I might be seen as pushy or something, so rather than argue, I prefer people just ignore me lol.
Exactly! We are lucky/blessed to be able to enjoy such beautiful things, we should enjoy them beyond letting them sit in closets and drawers.

Dc I think you asked about the house. It's a smallish 3/2 with a screened in back porch. It's vaguely gable/cottage style, which is as close to my dream cottage look as I'll get in south florida lol. I'm very very excited to make this house our own!!
Just finished signing the paperwork and I am now officially a homeowner!
