2015 resolution - shopping from my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Plumber applied silicone sealant to gaps, but we still need to observe if that is where the problem really is. It hasn't been raining so it will be a while before we know if that particular problem got solved. There seems to be another source of leak that is related to plumbing (but which affects a different area though near as well). As I cannot move the cabinet nor the bags, I will just put an old shower curtain over the cabinet just to be sure bags are protected. [emoji4]
Here's the multipurpose case I got as a freebies from a Japanese magazine. It's a collaboration with Paul & Joe as they use the print on the cover. It has many slots inside. I have no idea what I should use it for until I see the adaptation of a usual planner in the planner community. Now, I have my planner, a note pad, a post it, and a smaller notebook just for jotting down misc ideas in it. Quite a piece to keep me happy doodle. 
And since I've been wanting to change into a pink bag since last week. I plan to use this bag tomorrow. I was so scared about getting it dirty and scratched that I have to admit I didn't have any fun carrying it at all. I like how she look, but not the color. And maybe I think her leather is too high maintenance for my daily use, but since last week I've been thinking about using a pink bag, I find myself can't stop thinking about her. So I grabbed her as soon as I packed up my stuff for this week and I feel happier than the last time I took her out. She's my bag and I should put a scratch on her by using her. Not keeping her on shelf, right? So, tomorrow morning, I'll take her out. I just can't wait. Meanwhile, tonight I'll have to think what should I cut off the haul since she can hold a lot less than the wide horn. She's a medium-sized Miss Dior with a long chain. (She's been discontinued for sometime. I'm kind of sad for that. I don't like Diorama that's all over the show now. 
But I have to admit that her chain isn't the most comfortable out there and the one on Diorama seems to be better in that area.)

Lol. Binged watched season 3 and skimmed through season 1 of the royals (kinda trashy, but they filmed on location).
I don't use expensive skin care much, maybe because I don't know what to try out.

I am eying a watch. I tried one on today and it was gorgeous. But I want the herbag first. I've had my eyes on that bag then the watch.

Eehlers - love everything about that bag. Saw a black one in Vegas and really wanted it but stopped myself since I have a similar bag (MJ little Antonia).
So Vegas was so much fun. I was bad, or actually DH was the bad one and bought me two small bags from the Gucci presale. One of them was the one I gave my mom (bag twins now!) and another was a dusty rose flap chain bag that's a little bigger. Love them both. Has them shipped home because I overspent at the Lululemon outlet and didn't have room in my luggage. They should be here by thanksgiving. Glad to be home though.

I really should get into exercise routine. Just hearing about your plan get me to think about my life style lately, too. I tend to eat and shop a lot when I'm stress out and since I don't really shop now, I eat. [emoji28] I'm sure you'll get your Town soon.
I think my dad is giving me hints that he likes Lightning. Maybe if there will be no takers til end of 1st quarter next year, we might give it to him. I just also want to make sure he really wants it and will be ready for maintenance works plus extra fund for the annual registration and insurance. Lightning is already 18 years old and we know cars this old are already "sickly" even if you give it TLC (that's the reason why we bought a brand new one in the first place.)
Thank you for encouraging me more about my exercise plan. I wasn't able to go last Thursday bec. I met up with a friend but I was determined to attend yoga class this 8am. Unfortunately it was moved to 5pm and I won't be able to go bec. I promised my kids that we will be watching Peppa Pig Christmas Surprise (mall show) today whcih starts at 2pm. That mall is like 1 hour away from our place and I won't be able to make it on time for yoga class. Anyway, next week, I will clear my sched and won't let anything (well, except emergencies, of course!) get in the way. I sooo want to reach my weight loss goal and be able to fit into my old clothes again. I need to save up for the B Town and buying new clothes won't help me do that.
I'm sure you'll be able to save up for your new home in two years time. We'll be here to see it when you've already bought it. We'd love a home tour

Honestly, with all the holidays and parties, my goal for the next two months is to not gain weight. As long as I don't undo what progress I have made, then it will be a successful holiday.
I wish I was able to maintain my weight before DH went home last June. But I have eaten a lot more during that time than have worked out or visited the gym. I was such a procrastinator and I hated myself for doing that and now, I regret it so much, so I'm basically back to zero. Oh well..
When I was younger (college years and first few years working in the office), I was wondering why grown up women like leather bags. At that time, to me those leather bags look boring and too stiff for my liking. I also didn't know about designer bags. I only got to know them when I became a seller in our local ebay (in 2009). When I finally learned more about handbags, I began to realize why grown up women love leather bags (and designer bags too). And over the years, from 2009 up to present day, I think my taste have changed. DH always teases me that he doesn't gift me a handbag because he said I'm totally at a different level now and that he's afraid I might not like the bag if he buys it himself. He'd rather ask me what bag I want (like when he bought me my first ever RM bag, the MAC) or just give me the money to buy what bag I like
(which usually happens when it's my birthday or our anniversary and he's not here to celebrate it with me). Totes are classic for me but I prefer bags that have the option for crossbody wear. I want real leather (love the smell of it!) or coated canvas rather than man-made leather (before I don't even bother). For my utility bags, I like nylon or pvc but only from trusted brands such as Longchamp, Lesporstac (both for nylon) and Lacoste for PVC (bec. they are easy access to buy). And I'm also in the process of downsizing what's in my bag so I am also loving the small bags I have that fit my essentials.

Thought you would be interested....I moved out of my LV Vernis Zippy & into my LV Epi Zippy Organizer(!)
My job has given me way too many cards so I needed the extra slottage. The One is currently sleeping in its dust bag for the time being but she stays in my closet! TOO PRETTY. I love it so much, but for now I need the function. Plus my Zippy Organizer makes me happy every time I open it bc it's Cassis so it's purple on the outside & pink on the inside

Not really so much. Well maybe that's wrong bc I joined TPF in Jan 2014 & really overhauled my purses so yeah I guess I have changed it up the last two years - I prob had in the neighborhood of 30, including cheapie bags from wherever - and went total pirate on my closet which has still held true. If I don't love it, it walks the plank!
But really I didn't change the *types* of bags that I liked, I just got rid of versions that I didn't love, replaced some with more fashionable/grown-up versions. Or custom made straps to fix the utility of purses that I wanted to keep.
The only new rule I have for myself is no new heavy bags. I have one that is a touch too much but I love it so it stays. It just don't get worn if I'm going to be out allllll day.
As for November though....

I know that completely obliterates my "don't buy anything for a year" rule but it's something I have wanted for a very long time & I can absolutely justify the utility, the beauty and the feather light weight
Goyard St Louis PM(!) It's a beautiful burgundy color. I can't figure out how to add pix via the website & not the TPF app but I had to take the app off my phone bc it was too tempting to log in (and by extension buy purses...)
I have a NF GM that I use primarily for travel and wanted a smaller upscale tote that would fit a laptop, files & be a good go-to work bag. I used to use my MJ Stella for that reason but gave her away (my first!) a couple months back because she was truly too heavy, especially loaded with a lappy and files. Also I had her for 10+ years, it was time to let go...
I considered a NF PM except I didn't really want two of the same bag, even if I picked a different print. I loveeeeeee the Goyard St Louis & have for ages. I'm the insane person who compliments ladies I don't know wearing Goyards on the street. I have been searching for more than a year for one in good condition on consignment but I couldn't find a color / condition combo that was good enough for the price bc they're not much less expensive if you find them on Fashionphile or whatever. And I definitely don't know the tells well enough - even after spelunking through the Goyard forum here - to have comfort buying from a private party like I would for LV.
So I was in San Francisco for work for the last week (on wifi on the plane back to TX now) & walked by the Goyard store yesterday. I could not resist walking in...and bringing a souvenir home! There aren't many Goyard stores in the US so figured I should take the opportunity while there was an opportunity
As for giveaways....goodbye, Gucci Treasure Flap & LV Epi business card holder. It would have taken too much modification to get a long adjustable strap for the Flap, plus it's a touch too small to fit my laptop (11" Macbook). And I have a purple metal business card holder that I prefer to the LV so may as well put that into the cool girl pile for someone who is digging through consignment shops. And I nearly always use my cles instead of the b.card holder if I'm just running out with an ID & debit card so it's truly a not need in my wardrobe.

I like the violet exterior and pink interior color combo of the Epi Cassis. Congrats on your new Goyard! I also like seeing those bags on people (I love the blue one!) but I also don't know how to look at authentic vs. non. Hope those that I ogled at are the real deal, hehe.
IMO, I think 10 is also a good number (and manageable too) for SAHMs like me who don't really go out a lot. There is already variety in 10. It's not too many to not be able to rotate and not too less that it gets too boring.
I didn't know that the size of the mono vs epi is different. Thanks for sharing that info. This one is beautiful. You can take it anywhere. Enjoy!
