Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I'm way way behind on the thread, so I need to go back and catch up.

All is well with me...just busy.

My current bag/wallet combo - my MbMJ Hillier in Faded Aluminum that I got with my Amex Reward points, and this new Kate Spade Darla wallet in Train Car Red I got in the most recent Kate Spade sale. The duo together cost me a whopping $58. [emoji6]

In a mini wallet phase right now (so grab-n-go convenient) and love this burgundy paired with the dark gray of the bag.

Everyone ready for Thanksgiving? It's my favorite holiday so I'm totally jazzed!! [emoji2]
Great combo! And amazing price. The burgundy looks great with the dark, would bea great color combo for an outfit!

It's an art street festival. :) only this weekend, the people who live in part of the old town will close the road for three blocks (three junctions, actually, so more like 5-6 blocks?) and one of the art colleges and local people will participate in offering art activities to people and anyone can join in. :)

Here's DD using colored sand to paint on the street. (The staff sweep it all up after the day. When we left tonight, they were sweeping all off.)

There's a cloth dying project.

And her finished work. ;)

We can take it home, but we have to wash it before so all the excess dye come off. :) They did dry it first and already soak it with some kind of formula to make the dye stick. (I didn't get to ask much details. The staff are quite busy. They're all volunteer art students from a college in the area.)

A string orchestra? Violins and cellos.

There're also a mini concerts, mimes, puppets show, traditional plays, etc. and many other activities like making toys, speed illustration, etc. Overall, it's a very good time. :)
Wow that looks so fun!!! Love the outcome of her dye project!
Hellooo  my dear friends who I have been totally neglecting

What with work and modding I am B.U.S.Y but I had to come back and show you, because it's what brought me here. As you may remember I ordered a bag from Hermes. They are notoriously slow to get whatever in, but that's H. The problem for me was not spending the money for the special H GP before it came in

I sold a few bags, gave away another 2 (yay) but temptation was all around and succumbed to to Gucci sale bags, a vintage croc Hermes and an ostrich tote along the way (woooooops!!!!)

However, I made it. When the day came I still had just enough without totally embarrassing myself. In the end I passed on the cw I first ordered and went with what will now be called Papertiger green (or should I be now called Bamboutiger LOL?)

So here it is: my Garden Party with Quadridge lining. I was so excited I could sleep 'till 5am :cray:

Anyway, job done! Thanks so much to each and every one of you :hugs:

This is GORGEOUS!!!

I don't know how they manage to do this either. But many Japanese magazines have awesome freebies. And they often do the collaboration with well known brands for their stuff. The case I'm using now is a collab with Paul&Joe. It's a contemporary brand. I don't remember the magazine name anymore. The quality of this one isn't the top, but it's ok and fits my need at the moment. I can photograph it later tonight. :)

Well, not all lecturers are equally good. Too bad. :( I'd encountered some when I was in school. It's now over. ;) And you have a new scarf as a reward! ;)

I'm delayed in picking up my reward! Sigh, I have to wait for tomorrow, which is fine as I have a lot of work to get done today.

Seriously, I need to drop by Japan, they seem to have awesome things. They have Japanese magazines here but they never have any of the cool freebies.

I'm excited for all the pies! Love pie.

That MbMJ is sooo smooshy I love it! And that train car red color is gorgeous!!

OMG this is absolutely amazing, papertiger! Love the Bamboo color! Please share pictures when you carry it!

(Also, pinching myself for not asking for the bamboo herbag when I saw someone reject it, but that was when I was on my Evelyne mission).

No bag today since I'm working on projects at home, though my stuff is still in my Pochette Metis.

I feel good.

I was browsing the sale on Bloomingdales (where I have a rewards credit), and I saw Longchamp cuir totes and Ferragamo flats.

I closed the window. I don't need another Longchamp tote right now. I would like a custom cuir, but waiting for the right colors. And with my 17 pairs of shoes, I definitely don't need another pair, especially in pink. I don't know where I'd use my credits right now, tbh.

Great job!

A plumber is doing some repair work in my bedroom bathroom (looking for water leak source) that extends to the ceiling near my bed that is currently shielded by old shower curtains. So I'm confined to my desk, with my Bal Velo sitting on the desk. Sniff sniff...I think I'm going crazy smelling and smelling my bag!! Haha.

And on a related note, I was panicked earlier as we found very slight water mark on the celing just right above my bag cabinet!! The plumber said he'll go check the roof later for any water source.
