Such a stunning bag, Bitten. Great look!

That must have been hard. The bayswater are so pretty. I have a longchamp veau foulonne bag. I used it quite a bit in summer, but I bought a light weight organizer to go in it. The cuir leather is pretty but I tend to like things that hold their shape more. Both of these leathers though are super light weight. Here is a photo of mine. The color is called Oak.

This is really pretty, dcooney!

Beautiful bag and color! Small but holds all the essentials.

I'm thinking of the leather Pliages to. But I would want one with crossbody option - and I don't like that the strap is not adjustable as far as I've seen. I'm tall and I like to vary the lenght of the shoulder strap.

That's what bugs me too, and it is pretty unorganized inside. Unfortunately bag organizers don't work for me. Been there, done that...

For 2015, I resolve to not add to my collection at all. I plan to add 1 purse only - something leather and in a brilliant shade of blue. I have my eye on a Burberry but not sure if I can pull the trigger (I've only bought contemporary brands). If and when I buy I will have to get rid of something... Also hoping to buy less clothes and shoes too. I have a weakness for shoes😁
Shoes are my weakness too! I have over a hundred pair. Haven't even worn 8-10 pair that I've had for some time. No new shoes, except for work out shoes for 2015! Be strong!

I only found one organizer that actually works for me in my smaller bags , but it was not cheap. Most of them were just not cutting it for me either. I bought it to make some bags work for me that weren't and would have been sold other wise. That is why a large portion of my new bags are Mz Wallace because the organization is built in.

Thank you!!! This was my first attempt to restore. I really enjoyed the process and might look for another to do.

I actually mixed the Blackrock and the Obenauf's together and let it sit for 6 hours, then buffed it with a soft cloth. Then today I added the Coach conditioner to add moisturize it a bit more. I found the feet on EBay. I have 20 feet left (more bags to restore? Lol) since the pack came with 24 (it was like 4$ including shipping).

DH saw it and asked why I bought a bag that looks like the scrubby one I just had. :) He was surprised it was the same one.
Great job! Can't believe that was your first. Might try myself.

Ok , I did not think about the fact that the new bag I returned actually was to serve the purpose of going to sporting events and being able to hold up to serious abuse. The new bag I bought is to pretty and I don't want to chance it being knocked on to the floor by someone getting up and down in the bleachers. So today I will be bringing my Mz Wallace Baby Jane in charcoal luster with me. I'm sure this bag can handle it but I hate bringing anything much over a hundred dollars to these things. Here a picture of her. What do you use for these kind of events?

I would probably bring a le pliage personally. What about one of the small nylon ones dc? I think they are about $120 and you can find them on sale, plus they are very light weight.

The problem with the nylon is they tend to slide off of bleachers, But maybe a small one might work. My bigger one got bumped the one time I used it and almost landed in some soda a person beside spilled. The season has begun again and I will be at these things a few times a week.

Okay I need to try this. I generally do not make New Years Resolutions but how about a promise to TRY to myself and my husband! Lol. Sorry have to go back where I started this madness.

2012-2013

What happen: quite a few impulse bag purchases - that left me quite discontent.

2014

What happen: Sold a lot of bags and purchased more bags that fit my life style that I Loved! Went better about my bag purchases by researching bags, not buying the first time I saw and watching reviews here and you tube. Very helpful! I started a new trend of looking at a few bags for at least a month before I purchased so this way I would be sure. I'd get a list of bags I was interested in go to the boutique and have them pull all of them out for me to try by putting my things inside and modeling. I eliminated some bags and maybe even added a few more. Left the Boutique to sleep on it a few days. Return again and repeat the same process - leave again empty handed and wait a few days or longer. I look up the bags on You tube, images to see how they look on others, read any reviews I can find, search here of TPF and maybe start a thread to ask questions. Then I go back and make my purchase. I found that the bags I purchased at first glance are the bags I ended up selling - such a waste of money. The bags I research and took time to buy I know are my keepers.

2015

My plan: I finally received my HG bag so not to sure where you go form there! I do however have a great sense of contentment which is a really good feeling. I do not feel the need to buy a bag even though I may peruse the LV sight or see many beautiful reveals here. I have a very well rounded collection and have reached my bag max I set. I have decided that I WILL enjoy the bags I currently have with no plans to make a bag purchase in the year of 2015 and I am going to try my best to not even think about a purchase until this time next year. I made one last purchase Friday for a black MC cles which will be discontinued soon and a red bag charm. So really if I do make a purchase it will be small but I also realize even those purchases add up. So I think this will be my last SLG too. Okay wish me luck and strong resistance as this bag thing can be very dangerous!

Good luck all on your goals as well.

You can do it! Would love to see your cles.
