Here is a question , what bag do you reach most? It does not need to cost much and it still counts even a canvas tote etc. Just curious to see what really gets used the most. For me lately it is whatever crossbody goes with what I have on. What about you?

Crossbody, too. Actually satchels. I got rid of most non-crossbody bags. I need the option to carry my bags handfree. And crossbody bags don't inflict too much pain on my back.

I'll look forward to your reveal =) I think I want to let go of a few more wallets before I get mine. If I don't let go of any wallets, then maybe I'll get it when/if I bring my bag count down significantly.

If you have so many wallets may be it should be one of those things that you admire but don't need to get. It is a cute wallet ,but I find I use a smaller but easier to use brighton wallet more.

For me it's not about a certain bag but about weight. That's why heavy bags are a nono for me.

This is me too! Last week I exchanged a bag because it was too heavy. I had asked my dd when we bought it if she thought it was heavy. She said no so I bought it. Later when I had a chance to weigh it I realized it was too heavy for me. Note to self never ask an athlete if something is heavy. Anyway we can help each other stick to buying lighter weight bags.

Absolutely! I sold my lovely Bayswater because it was so heavy even empty! I don't carry a lot, but it still adds up!
I might take a closer look at the leather pliages after all....

That must have been hard. The bayswater are so pretty. I have a longchamp veau foulonne bag. I used it quite a bit in summer, but I bought a light weight organizer to go in it. The cuir leather is pretty but I tend to like things that hold their shape more. Both of these leathers though are super light weight. Here is a photo of mine. The color is called Oak.

I am trying really hard to buy bags in person. When I had ordered a longer strap version of it last year in another color, the color was not what I thought it would be and it was scratched. If I can't get a bag in person I try to buy from places that have good customer service ,so if something is damaged I can return it.

Right now, it's the Chanel Shiva Flap I posted earlier. Mainly because I know it goes with everything, from jeans to work outfit to party dress plus it's already packed up and ready to go. Love that I can wear it crossbody, too.
I really must start rotating my bags. The Saint Laurent has yet to be used - it's so pretty I keep taking it out of the dustbag to admire it but that's as far as I've got! This may sound insane but for as long as it remains unused, I feel I have a new bag and it's easier to resist buying another one. Lol it's madness.

Hi, I would like to join for 2015 :smile1: I currently have 2 closets full of stuff and only wear/use about 20 percent of it. These are my resolutions:

1. Buy no clothing at all. I have so much clothing. I posted about this on the decluttering thread too. I need to work with what I have, and hopefully lose a bit of weight and expand the range of what I wear as a result. The only exception to this resolution is bras, if I can lose enough weight to need new ones.

2. Buy no accessories and use the ones I have. I only have about 8 - 10 purses, and like the ones that I have. But I rarely carry them. I feel like I need to put myself together adequately before I can carry a purse, and I hit that standard rarely. Plus I carry a big tote at work. I need to use them or sell them - my closet isn't a purse museum!

3. Get rid of all unworn items at the end of 2015. The only exception to this might be a formal dress or something rarely worn (fancy clutch) that still fits. Everything else goes.

4. Photograph outfits daily. This will help me to learn what looks good and what I do wear in order to make better decisions in the future.

5. Build Pandora bracelet 10 pounds at a time. With each 10 pounds I lose, I get a new bead. I will post pics of it as it grows - it is empty now as I just got it! I really want my first bead to be a cat because my sweet cat just passed away this week. It motivates me to work hard - I want a memento that always reminds me that my sweet kitty is still with me.

Those are my goals! They might seem a little extreme, but I want to make big changes this year. Thank you for letting me participate here - I hope to support others too!
Wow! You gave me inspiration! I'm going to add the taking of pics.Hope you get cat!

Bayswaters are wayyy to heavy for me, too. I'm dreaming of the Small Bayswater right now. I tested it in store already. Not heavy and big enough for me ☺️

I'm thinking of the leather Pliages to. But I would want one with crossbody option - and I don't like that the strap is not adjustable as far as I've seen. I'm tall and I like to vary the lenght of the shoulder strap.

This is beautiful-love the color too.

I didn't do too well with my 2014 resolution. I sold 4 bags and I acquired 7 bags :lolots:

I even have comparison shots from my 2014 to 2015 bag collection!

My 2015 resolution is to buy only 1 bag. I know I can do it after this year.
Wow! Beautiful! Can't wait to see what the "One" beauty is for this year.:D
